Cassettes contain a 1982 audio from Trent University Music Society's production of Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta "The Pirates of Penzance". One cassette contains Act 1, the other contains Act 2.

This fonds consists of photocopies of: a) a minute book including the letters patent incorporating the company (19 October 1883) and minutes of a Director's meeting, 5 February 1900; b) by-laws of the company passed in Lindsay 26 January 1884; c) document headed "by-laws" repealing previous by-laws and a list of shareholders, 31 December 1884; and d) document with signatures of shareholders, 8 October 1883, minutes of a meeting 19 January 1884, and advertisements. The addition on 1 April 1977 consists of a photocopy of a brochure titled "Kawartha Lakes: The Bright Waters and Happy Land" with timetables for 1907. The fonds also includes some records pertaining to the Trent Valley Navigation Company.

Script reads "Any person who removes this card, or in any way violates the law under which this card is posted up, shall for every offence incur a penalty of not more than $20.00."

This collection consists of a number of stereographs produced by different publishers with the majority published by Underwood & Underwood. There subject matter of the stereographs are the Boer War in South Africa from 1889 to 1902; the Timothy Eaton Company including store interior shots; views of Niagara Falls and the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, Ontario.

This item consists of a 52.5 cm x 43 cm folder which contains 12 pictures of navy personnel in uniform. The item was published in 1966 by the Naval History Division, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

This fonds consists of a dedication program of Hart House at the University of Toronto on 11 November 1919. There is also a souvenir folder regarding the dedication of the Soldier's Tower with a colour etching of the Tower from 5 June 1924.

This fonds consists of a "School Exercise Book" which contains a handwritten biographical sketch of Miss Burgess' "First School", undoubtedly written to be read to the members of the Shakespeare Club at one of their monthly meetings. The 31 loose sheets consist of poems and verse written by Burgess over the years as inspiration or occasion presented.

The fonds consists of a typescript copy by Vernon B. Wadsworth titled "A History of Exploratory Surveys Conducted by John Stroughton Dennis, Provincial Land Surveyor, in the Muskoka, Perry Sound and Nipissing Districts, 1860-1865." It also includes a press clipping and an obituary of Vernon B. Wadsworth.

This fonds consists of 4 original documents pertaining to the land on which Victoria College, Cobourg, was situated. One document is the declaration of Rev. S.D. Rice verifying the signatures of the Attorney General (John A. Macdonald) and the Deputy Registrar (Thomas Mayor) on the other three documents.

Items are reproductions of photographs depicting a view of Ashburnham from the tower of St. John's Church, c.1874. The View was constructed from two James Little photographs located at Peterborough Centennial Museum and Archives. One item is a print identified as proof number 9/10; the other is a reduced copy of the View with attached legend showing the names of the buildings.

This item is a pencil sketch of the Otonabee River and the District of Newcastle where the village of Peterborough was located. The sketch was produced by "K.E.S."

A six-page typed account of Hamilton's experience as a Parks Canada official who assisted with the organization of an event involving the crossing of a Viking ship from Norway to North America in 1991. This fonds consists of three issues of the University of Manitoba publication VOX which contain stories, poetry, editorials, reports and a graduate section which has photographs of the graduates for the year of publication. In all issues there are short stories and poetry written by Margaret Laurence, under her maiden name of Jean Margaret (Peggy) Wemyss. There is also a photograph of her in one of the issues.
