          Series consists of awards and memorabilia documenting Peter Gzowski's education and professional development from high school through retirement. The series also contains awards given to Gzowski throughout his career, as well as books, letters, and newspaper clippings related to his death in 2002. Included in this series are photographs of award ceremonies, professional photographs, photographs of Gzowski's family, university assignments, copies of magazines and newspapers where Gzowski has published work, and drawings of Gzowski. This series also contains personal records, such as Gzowski's baby books (1934-[1939?]) and several volumes of memorial books (2002).

Also included are materials pertaining to Anne Atwood's family, the Traills; a sketch identified through an accompanying note as Ernest Shackleton; and correspondence between Edwin Guillet and explorer George M. Douglas.

Due to the universal nature of his cartoons, Racey gained international recognition and his works were reproduced in numerous newspapers and magazines around the world.
