This fonds consists of glass slides which were used as teaching materials at Mount St. Joseph. The subjects include Tennyson: Idylls of the King, 55 slides; physiography, 15 slides; zoology, 5 slides; physics, 4 slides; English and history, 7 slides; and, European history, 6 slides. Ten of the slides in physiography, 2 slides in botany and 1 slide in chemistry were made by high school students in Lindsay.

This fonds consists of 58 volumes of the Peterborough Collegiate and Vocational School yearbook called "The Echoes"; 2 Minute Books for the Girls' Athletic Association from 1908 to 1923; 13 scattered volumes of "Commencement Exercises" between 1937 and 1951; and 1 volume of "Reports of the Business Board of the Collegiate Echoes of the P.C.I." dated 1916-1918. Additional materials were donated by Dr. Fern Rahmel in 2002 on the occasion of the 175th anniversary of P.C.V.S.

This fonds consists of the original diary of Margaret Jane Scott who attended Lindsay Model School and then Toronto Normal School before teaching in Omemee, Ontario. The diary covers the period of time Margaret spent in Toronto at Normal School. Also included in the fonds is a typescript copy of the diary which is bound and includes an introduction, photograph and a section entitled conversations with Ida Scott which was produced September 12, 1994.

Joblin's interest in Indigenous affairs and in particular, the education of Indigenous peoples in Canada. Included in the fonds are references to the Canadian Association in Support of Native Peoples, the Indian-Eskimo Association, copies of Indian News and a Cree hymn book. Also included in the fonds are 14 scrapbooks of clippings on native issues.

The records deal with various charges throughout Canada and most of the records concern his career administering residential schools, native education and religion.

This fonds consists of one 1850 notebook entitled "J.K. Roche's Field Notes, Port Hope" which contains survey notes on properties in Port Hope, Canada West, and which belonged to the estate of John D. Smith. There are also two survey documents describing Lot 3, Concession 1 in Hope Township which is signed by John K. Roche and is dated July 20, 1844, and one which is signed by Geo. A. Stewart, Ward, and is undated. Also included in the fonds are three unidentified and undated school building architectural drawings.

This fonds consists of a "School Exercise Book" which contains a handwritten biographical sketch of Miss Burgess' "First School", undoubtedly written to be read to the members of the Shakespeare Club at one of their monthly meetings. The 31 loose sheets consist of poems and verse written by Burgess over the years as inspiration or occasion presented.

This fonds consists of two "Counting Copy Books" which set down the basic rules of arithmetic and provide examples for solving, including reduction, the rule of three, compound interest, rebate or discount, equation of payments, barter, and profit and loss. Under "Reduction" can be found listings of units of: Avoir dupois Weight, Troy Weight, Time, Cloth Measure, Long Measure, Apothecary's Weight, Dry Measure,Winchester Measure, and Wine Measure. Some references in the back of Robert Willan's book record payments for shearing in 1819 and1820. An inscription on Robert's book reads "Wm. Marshall, Aughton near Lancaster" [teacher?]. Another inscription on the last page of Edwards book reads "Thomas M. Willan, South Monaghan." A loose slip of paper in Edward's book reads "Robert Willan, Challan Hall, Febery 14, 1819."

This fonds consists of a copy of an address called "World Leadership in Business", given by Anthony Cekota to the Foreign Trade Club of Detroit on January 21, 1954. These documents consist of two stapled mimeographed books. The first, dated March 1946 and entitled "The Union of Saskatchewan Indians: The Record of the Establishment of Indian Unity in Saskatchewan" records the minutes of meetings held in Regina, Duck Lake and Saskatoon, and provides names of the Constitution Committee. It also contains reprints of Treaties No.3 and 4. The second book, dated July 1946 and entitled "The Treaties Between Her Majesty, Queen Victoria and The Indians of British North America" contains reprints of Treaties No. 3,4,5,6,7, and 8.
