Fonds includes miscellaneous accounts, receipts, camping equipment lists, correspondence, insurance policies pertaining to Windy Pine. Also includes a cassette tape recording re: early days at Windy Pine, and a transcription provided in 2014 by Joan McIlwain via Professor Julia Harrison

Windy Pine PointThis item is a watercolour of chrysanthemums by Susanna Moodie. It includes the inscription "or dear Victor with Grandmother's kind love. Designed from Nature in the 72 year of her age, Toronto, August 31th 1875."
The Guillet papers are extraordinarily rich in photographs. Guillet (1898-1975) was born at Cobourg, Ontario and educated at the University of Toronto. He was the author of many books including Valley of the Trent, published in 1957. During the course of his research, Guillet collected photographs of local settlers and scenes, a few of which are reproduced here.
