This fonds consists of correspondence, photographs, family biographical information, notes and research for speeches, alderman election materials, accounts, land ownership documents, business records and newspaper clippings pertaining to the personal and political career of John Beverley Robinson. Also included in the fonds is research material of Mrs. Forsyth Grant, daughter of J.B. Robinson and President of the Women's Canadian Historical Society of Toronto.

This fonds consists of records that were left when the Peterborough Women's Committee disbanded in 1987. The files provide a record of a decade of women's political concerns from a local point of view.

The grasses scrapbook was compiled by Catharine Parr Traill for her friend James Fletcher and given to him 12 January 1894. The inside cover has the following inscriptions: "Grasses from Stony Lake gathered and mounted by Cathe Parr Traill - Aged 92 years." These specimens are from the Island of Minne Wa-Wa and Otter Island. July-September 1893" and "With Mrs.Traill's kind wishes to her much valued and esteemed friend James Fletcher F.S.L.S. & etc. January 12th, 1894". The scrapbook consists of 20 pages, 18 of which have pressed grasses, from the Stoney Lake area of the Island of Minne Wa-Wa and Otter Island, glued onto them. Also included in the scrapbook is a specimen list of the grasses and a photocopy of an article, entitled "Grasses from Stony Lake Gathered and Mounted by Cathe Parr Traill - Aged 92 Years". The article was written by William G. Dore and published in The Ontario Naturalist in 1966.

The framed mosses were gathered by Catharine Parr Traill in the Stoney Lake area. Prior to the Archives receiving this addition, the pages were taken apart, mounted and framed in two frames each containing three pages of mosses; one medium frame containing "Sedges & grass, with mosses, from the bank below the garden at Westove. Gathered and arranged for Katie. With Grandmother's dear love. Oct. 24th, 1889"; and one small frame with Traill's autograph.

The fonds is in eight bound volumes and consists of letters, newspaper clippings, photographs, diaries, poetry, sketch books, accounts and a typewritten unpublished autobiography.

This fonds consists of conference reports of the Eastern Ontario Regional, Canadian Federation of University Women and International Federation of University Women from 1960 to 1987. The fonds also includes various publications of the different chapters.

Also included are resolutions of the CFUW Ontario Council and the CFUW national office. Volumes are arranged by year (July-June) and by month. Volume 32 contains records from July 2018-June 2020. Volume 33 contains records from July 2020-June 2022.

Fonds consists of four albums of materials related to the Beta Sigma Phi of Peterborough, Ontario. Materials are dated 1996-2005 and include photographs, greeting cards, invitations, correspondence, and newspaper clippings. The four albums are covered and decorated in cloth design; three are titled Xi Delta Nu and one is titled Beta Sigma Phi.

The fonds consists of family and related papers of Henry Fowlds and his family including James S. Fowlds and H.M. Fowlds. It also includes business correspondence, invoices, some journals and cashbooks, mortgages as well as deeds regarding the business of Henry Fowlds, Jas. S. Fowlds and Bros. and H.M. Fowlds. In December 2001, Trent University Archives launched an online exhibit which depicts Helen Fowld's experiences in World War I. The fonds consists of original designs and drawings by Jean Harstone from architectural design school, 1925-1926 and promotion, advertising and program materials from the Columbia Broadcasting System Radio Network and the National Broadcasting Corporation Radio Network, New York City, 1938-1952.

This addition to the fonds consists of diaries, manuscripts, correspondence, photographs and newspaper clippings of Dorthy Choate Herriman. The fonds includes material on the Canadian Authors Association, Carol Cassidy Coates and other poets and writers. Newspaper clippings, original illustrated layout, biographical information, author's proof and a bound copy of Mater Silva are also included in the fonds. There is also an annotated copy of editor John Garvin's Canadian Poets.

This collection consists of a book of typed recipes with "J.R. Ferguson" hand-written on the front cover. Its cover is hand-made with a coloured drawing of a woman carrying a platter with the name . Also included in the fonds is a letter on Hall & Furgason letterhead (Produce Commission Merchants, New York) from a son to his mother dated September 20, 1895. (Note different spelling of the name Ferguson/Furgason).

The fonds consists of manuscripts of poetry; printed poems of Alice Roger Collins; and two letters from Alice Roger Collins (October 30, 1946; February 21, 1948) discussing personal matters, post World War II conditions, and her teaching of music at Walkerton, Ontario. The poetry is presumably by A.R. Collins, some of which is dedicated to 'Fergie' - in ink and pencil, and of a religious nature.

This fonds consists of 6 volumes of "Sunset of Bon Echo" bound into one copy, as well as one additional copy unbound, which were published by Flora Macdonald Denison in honour of Walt Whitman.
