This fonds consists of correspondence, research notes and original documents which were collected by Professor David Macmillan during his research. Items such as voters' lists for Victoria County, Ontario and a series of broadsides advertising land in Victoria County; documents from the Hudson's Bay Company, East Indies; minutes from the Barbados Board of Legislative Council, a Sydney Australia Company, and the Sydney Australian Committee of the New Steam Company; and a number of reproduction engravings and prints are included in the fonds. Also included in the fonds is a copy of Macmillan's 1964 Ph.D. thesis: "The Scottish Australian Connection..." and assorted pamphlets relating to New South Wales.

File includes a diagram of a reflector oven by Carol Hodgins (February 1983).

This fonds consists of records of Laura Belle Hodgins who was Chair of the Kitchener, Ontario, Branch of the Women's Voluntary Services from 1942 to 1946; papers and legal documents of Stanley and Laura Belle Hodgins who bought Camp Wanapitei (a wilderness canoe tripping camp) in the mid-1950s; and correspondence, legal records, financial records, and camper, staff and program records of Camp Wanapitei under the directorship of Bruce Hodgins from 1960 to 1985.

This fonds consists of photographs, two charcoal portraits, land documents, family bible and biographical sketches of Lakefield, Ontario. It also includes information on the Joseph Walton family of Smith Township. The bible contains genealogical information and is a "Cottage" Bible stamped with name of Joseph and S.J. Walton.

This fonds consists of 8 original pencil drawings, signed M. Smithson. The drawings are of fruits, Roman and castle ruins as well as pastoral scenes.

This fonds consists of correspondence, photographs, family biographical information, notes and research for speeches, alderman election materials, accounts, land ownership documents, business records and newspaper clippings pertaining to the personal and political career of John Beverley Robinson. Also included in the fonds is research material of Mrs. Forsyth Grant, daughter of J.B. Robinson and President of the Women's Canadian Historical Society of Toronto.

This addition to the fonds consists of Board minutes, briefs, correspondence, subject files, press clippings, periodicals and various other assorted records pertaining to the Canadian Association in Support of Native Peoples. The bulk of the fonds consists of correspondence, reports, minutes and photographs created by CASNP and its members and associated agencies. Please refer to the finding aid for a detailed listing of records located within this fonds.

The fonds is in eight bound volumes and consists of letters, newspaper clippings, photographs, diaries, poetry, sketch books, accounts and a typewritten unpublished autobiography.

Drawings of Jim Lauder, a Canadian soldier, from a German prisoner-of-war camp in 1944. Also, added in 2019, a copy of Hard Tears & Soft Laughter by James William Lauder (Tellwell Talent, 2018); the manuscript for this book was written by James William Lauder and published posthumously by Lauder's son, Jimmie Arthur Lauder, in 2018.

Folder 2 includes the Colonel Robert Brown scrapbook (Col. Brown was a colonel of the Royal Scotch Fusiliers. Thomas Traill and J.W.D. Moodie were in his regiment). The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings pertaining to his interest in USA relations, campaigns abroad, and matters relating to colonial affairs in Upper Canada; it also includes several original paintings of noteworthy soldiers with whom Brown had come into contact. Also included is a painting of an Indigenous woman entitled "One of the Indian Women who received His R.H. the Prince of Wales... 7th Sept. 1860."

Also included are 4 original sketches: 1. [original] Gore homestead at Gore's Landing, Ontario - a watercolour from memory by T.S. Gore Jr.; 2. "Hazelbank, Rice Lake"; 3. "Mavis Bank, Rice Lake' by J.T. Mercer (cottage); 4. "Plan of St. George's Church Yard, Rice Lake". Also, an original Christmas greeting card with sketch from Gerald & Ivy Hayward, New York, 1924; photographic reproductions of Rice Lake sketches by Charles Fothergill and an offprint of a photo of Fothergill; miscellaneous sketches and notes.

File consists of correspondence between Stewart Bagnani and Trent University regarding her position as special lecturer in art and as director of Mackenzie Gallery. File also includes lectures schedules; a sketch of the building which housed Mackenzie Gallery before it opened as a gallery, by David Woods, 1971; a wedding photo of Mr. and Mrs. Gengembre-Curwood (1970); miscellaneous letters to Stewart regarding the Bagnani medal, etc.; also financial records, etc. relating to Mackenzie Gallery.

File also included an image of a castle torn from a book.

This fonds consists of various original and copied records of the business activities of Thomas Hay, and related family data, such as birth-death records, correspondence, drawings (technical and sketches) and photographs. A small genealogical table compiled by the archivist is enclosed.

File consists of a sketchbook that includes poems (some written in French), watercolour paintings, sketches and drawings, comments on the paintings and sketches (some written in French), letters, and glued-in engravings

File also includes a pencil sketch of two people canoeing, likely drawn by Carol, a newsletter with camp photographs (1980, 1981), and a photocopy of a newspaper story about Bruce and Carol Hodgins (1983).

This fonds consists of correspondence, documents, and manuscripts. Included are personal letters, articles, essays, journals and daily planning books, research notes, drafts of books and plays in manuscript form (including an unpublished first novel), royalty statements, photographs and documentation on the novelizations of the films "Corvette Summer," "Dragonslayer," "Batteries Not Included," and "Willow". Also included are materials regarding the film, "Places Out of Time."

File consists of drawings done of Trent University's campuses. There are drawings of Peter Robinson College, as well as drawings of different buildings on the Symons Campus. A drawing of Faryon Bridge with Champlain College in the background is also included. Some drawings are aerials of the whole Symons Campus.

This addition to the fonds consists of pencil sketches, in a book, of scenes along the Dawson Road such as Lake Shebandowan, Kettle Falls and Rainy River from a camp at Fort Francis.
