              Collection includes material documenting the history of the YMCA Camp Sunfish camp. Most records pertain to the leasing and maintenance of the property from Elliot-Croft Camp, who leased it to the Danforth Young Men's Christian Association to be used as a camp for boys. File includes property documents, minutes, and correspondence.

              This fonds consists of records of Laura Belle Hodgins who was Chair of the Kitchener, Ontario, Branch of the Women's Voluntary Services from 1942 to 1946; papers and legal documents of Stanley and Laura Belle Hodgins who bought Camp Wanapitei (a wilderness canoe tripping camp) in the mid-1950s; and correspondence, legal records, financial records, and camper, staff and program records of Camp Wanapitei under the directorship of Bruce Hodgins from 1960 to 1985.

              Fonds consists of photocopies of 90 letters written by Mary Williamson home to her parents from summer camp between 1940 and 1951. The camps attended were Camp Cedarnook and Camp Tanamakoon. Also included are camp badges; one group photograph taken at Camp Cedarnook ca.1943; and ca.160

              Materials added in 2020: 8 photographs pertaining to Camp Woapak, 1940s. Mary Williamson's brother, J. Peter Williamson, and their mother, Marie Williamson, are identified in a few of the photographs. Further information about the family is available in Just a Larger Family (Waterloo: Wilfrid Laurier U.P., 2011); this book is comprised of the wartime letters of Marie Williamson and was edited by Mary F. Williamson.

              This addition to the fonds consists of personal and career-related materials of Mary L. Northway such as cassettes with interviews, family wills, photographs and slides, an honorary doctorate from Trent University, correspondence and documents regarding the transfer of deed of Windy Pine property to Trent University, materials relating to camping and to Nominigan as well as copies of Mary Northway's publications. There are also business-related photographs, correspondence, etc. of John Northway, Mary Northway's grandfather. One file of papers regarding the Neathern Trust was added in 1992.

              This collection consists of a Glen Bernard Camp songbook, a large portrait of "Chief" Taylor Statten, press clippings from Canadian Camping, a Camp Ahmek certificate dated 1923, 70 photographs, and 3 postcards. Also included are the following artifacts: a Glen Bernard trophy engraved for Janet Gibson, 1923, Camp Ahmek counsellor's medal, 1924, a leather Camp Ahmek "Third" badge, 1923, and a plaque inscribed "2nd Stollery and Van Every", undated.

              This fonds consists of a scrapbook containing photographs depicting Oak Ridge Camp activities and canoe trips. Included in the album are newspaper clippings relating to Stoney Lake Regatta. Photographs of Mount Rushmore, Catalina, Yellowstone Park and La Jolla Beach can also be found in this collection.

              File consists of photographs of Camp Franklin on Georgian Bay. Also includes a New Testament given to Stanton while at Camp Camperdown, 1922. Stanton was at that time a 17 year old student at Havergal College in Toronto. The names of staff at Camperdown are signed in the front of the bible. The camp director was most likely Millicent Payne.

              A reproduction (34 cm x 121 cm) of an original two-piece mural painted in 1941 by artist Frederick Hagan (1918-2003). The mural depicts various camp activities; reproductions were made in recognition of the camp's 100th anniversary celebrated in 2010.

              This addition to the fonds consists of the Canadian Camping Association's Board Executive minutes, reports and documents from 1976 to 1981. Also included are: a 1967 annual report; provincial association liason materials; Canadian Camping Magazine editorial committee minutes, reports and correspondence; a 1968 Canoeing Instructor Course manual; a survey of camp directors and staff, 1975; a CCA Task Force final report, 1977; and two audio disc recordings of a talk by John Fisher (Mr. Canada) delivered on CBC, 26 March 1950.

              This fonds consists of the personal papers of F.M Van Wagner of Montreal, relating to his activities in the Canadian Camping Association from its founding in 1936 to 1965. He was at one time a president of the association. The papers consist of memos, correspondence, minutes, drafts of constitutions, and various materials on other provincial associations on camping standards and other topics.
