This fonds consists of microfilm of municipal and other records produced by the Archives of Ontario. It includes assessment and collectors rolls, 1852-1886, as well as voters lists and poll books, 1866-1867. Also included are receipts and expenditures, 1868 and the minutes of North Monaghan Intellectual Improvement Society.

They include pension fund operations, ledgers, financial statements, investment registers etc. No records exist which show the manufacturing operations of John Northway and Son Limited.

Northway which include: household records, tape recordings regarding family genealogy, property records, records of her participation in the Ontario Camping and Canadian Camping Associations. There are also miscellaneous records concerning the winding-up of the Northway Company Limited of which Dr. Mary Northway was president.

Northway familyThis addition to the fonds consists of personal and career-related materials of Mary L. Northway such as cassettes with interviews, family wills, photographs and slides, an honorary doctorate from Trent University, correspondence and documents regarding the transfer of deed of Windy Pine property to Trent University, materials relating to camping and to Nominigan as well as copies of Mary Northway's publications. There are also business-related photographs, correspondence, etc. of John Northway, Mary Northway's grandfather. One file of papers regarding the Neathern Trust was added in 1992.
Northway familyThis item is a notebook, covering part of May and June of 1923. It contains notes on medical experiments. The return address reads "Department of Pathology, (Bacteriology Section) Toronto General Hospital" while the label on the cover reads "Notes on Military Lectures Given to the Officers' Training Corps of the Army Service Department of the Canadian Militia at Toronto".
This series consists of notebooks maintained by Johnston recording her daily activities with friends and family and experiences throughout her writing career.

- Envelope with title "Garden items" with newspaper articles, etc. relating to gardening; also, letter dated 1917 to Augusta from Winifred Lewis, Canadian Convalescent Hospital, Roehampton, re a joint "enterprise" they are considering
