Port Hope's Fortieth RegimentThe fonds consists of a collection of postcards, letters and photographs relating to people and events in Port Hope and vicinity (up to and including Bewdley and Bailieboro); including correspondence to Henry White.
This fonds is similar to Port Hope miscellanea fonds with correspondence, bills, receipts, promissory notes, area railways and transportation, political advertisements, Ontario Lacrosse Association Certificate, one letter of Clifford Sifton, military material, summons, writs, some Thomas Benson correspondence, municipal records, records relating to Vincent Massey, and records relating to Frederick Thompson.
File consists of photographs of David Poole, who is a professor in Trent University’s Mathematics Faculty since 1984. Poole received a number of awards, the Symons Award for Excellence in Teaching (1995), Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations Teaching Award (2002), Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education’s 3M Teaching Fellowship (2002), and Excellence in Teaching from the Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) (2009). Poole is the former Associate Dean of Arts and Science, Teaching and Learning (2002-2013).
