This addition to the fonds consists of one large photograph album containing newspaper clippings, photographs, correspondence and biographical records regarding the Corrigan House and family of Carrying Place, Ontario. Album contains drawings by B. Napier Simpson of the Corrigan House at The Carrying Place, Prince Edward County. There are also sheets of biographical information on the Asa Weller family and the Robertson, French and Corrigan families and B. Napier Simpson.

This fonds consists of photographs, two charcoal portraits, land documents, family bible and biographical sketches of Lakefield, Ontario. It also includes information on the Joseph Walton family of Smith Township. The bible contains genealogical information and is a "Cottage" Bible stamped with name of Joseph and S.J. Walton.

This fonds includes correspondence, receipts and other records of Reverend Peter McLaren Duncan, Leonora Duncan, James Duncan, and Annie Duncan. Also included are sermon notes, assessment notices, insurance policies and the marriage register of Colborne Presbyterian Church from 1896 to 1912. The fonds also includes an autograph album of Leonora (Singleton) Duncan, Brighton, Canada West.

This fonds consists of four Peterborough residences of which two are framed. One of the photographs is of the Haultain home from approximately 1880 and another is of Maplehurst.

This fonds consists of a scrapbook containing photographs depicting Oak Ridge Camp activities and canoe trips. Included in the album are newspaper clippings relating to Stoney Lake Regatta. Photographs of Mount Rushmore, Catalina, Yellowstone Park and La Jolla Beach can also be found in this collection.

This fonds consists of 68 photographs of commercial signs held in albums as catalogues of J.J. Turner & Sons company, Peterborough, Ontario. It also includes one 8 X 10 photograph and one photograph identified as George A. Cox (1840-1914) of the Colborne/Midland railway.

This fonds consists of photographs of individual members of the Port Hope Fortieth Regiment from approximately 1885.

This fonds includes photographs of Central Public School, South Central Public School, teaching staff and pupils.

This fonds consists of 2, 5 X 7 black and white, photographs of Colonel Samuel Strickland. There is also a newspaper clipping concerning H. Strickland's long-distance swim of 1905.

This fonds includes three 8 X 10 inch, black and white photographs of military groups, 1 framed certificate and 1 sketch book with loose photographs in the front.

This addition to the fonds consists of photocopies of correspondence of Anya Seton; a play called the "Rufus letters" 1890; a manuscript of a play; and an unpublished autobiography. The fonds also contains original manuscript and typescript articles by Elise Thompson including an interview, biographical notes and photocopies of articles on Seton. There are also photocopies of letters and documents pertaining to Seton's relationship with Grace Seton. As well in 1992 an inventory list was added of all Seton paintings in Philmot Ranch, Cimarron, New Mexico, including an inventory of Seton paintings in the Smithsonian as well as correspondence regarding a Seton painting.

This fonds consists of 82 glass negatives of the Trent Canal waterway including shots of various locks along the route and several industries. Positive prints were made from the negatives in 2004.

This fonds consists of two copy photographs of Captain Rubidge, one in old age and one in youth wearing Royal Navy uniform; two photographs of a portrait of Captain Rubidge; and four typescript sheets of biographical information.

This fonds consists of the personal and business records of the Geale, Hamilton, Peck, Barker and Rogers families. There are letters relating to World War I written by Beresford and Robert Hamilton and Heber and Harry Rogers; letters, diaries, journals of Richard Birdsall Rogers (superintending engineer of the Peterborough Lift Lock); the records of Hon. Robert Hamilton, a factor at the Hudson's Bay Company stationed at Fort Edmonton. The fonds also contains stereographs, approximately 1000 photographs, and a C.E. Goad fire insurance plan for the city of Peterborough, 1882. Items of interest include a group of photographs of the Trent Valley area and the building of the canal; Rogers family pictures of the Stoney Lake area and the Juniper Island Regatta; photos of early aircraft and the Curtiss Aviation School; photos of hydraulic lift lock at Peterborough; and one letter from Catharine Parr Traill to Robert Miles Hamilton.

This collection of family papers, correspondence, journals, photographs, newspaper clippings and published works spans the years 1834 to 1966 and measures approximately 3 1/2 linear metres. The papers were deposited in Trent University Archives through the courtesy of members of the Geale and Rogers families in 1983.

The papers are divided into two series:

Series A, the Geale family papers, consists of records pertaining to the descendants of the Hon. Robert Hamilton, a factor of the Hudson's Bay Company stationed at Fort Edmonton in northern Manitoba. Robert Hamilton married Annie Seabourne. One of their sons was Robert Miles Hamilton (1864-1939). He married Alice May Barker and resided at "Auburn" in Peterborough, Ontario. Their children were Miles Beresford Hamilton, Robert Barker Hamilton, (Alice) Seabourne Hamilton, and S.R. Hamilton (son). Alice Seabourne Hamilton married Charles Norman Geale. Papers of the Barker family (the Hon. Samuel Barker was Mrs. Robert Miles Hamilton's father) are included in this series as are the papers of the Peck family. Edward Armour Peck was the natural son of Arthur Henry Peck and the adoptive father of Charles Norman Geale. He married Kitty Revell. Both Miles Beresford Hamilton and Robert Barker Hamilton served overseas in the First World War and their correspondence is included in this series.

Series B of this collection consists of the Rogers Papers. Richard Birdsall Rogers was born at Ashburnham in 1857. He lived there until 1916 and then moved to "Beechwood Farm" in Douro Township. He was a land surveyor and was appointed superintendent engineer of the Trent Valley Canal in 1884. Richard married Clara Mina Calcutt of Peterborough in 1881. They had seven children. One daughter, Leah, married Herbert Geale, brother of Charles Norman Geale. Two sons, Heber and Harry served overseas in World War I. Their correspondence is included. R.B. Rogers designed and supervised the building of the hydraulic lift locks at Peterborough and Kirkfield. These papers included several files of plans and specifications for the locks, correspondence and documents accrued during the scandal preceding Rogers' resignation in 1906, the Holgate Report which condemned Rogers and the Keefer investigation which completely vindicated his work as Chief Engineer. This addition to the fonds consists of Peterborough Petes memorabilia 1980-1981 and 1981-1982 seasons. Also include dare 10 issues of "Junior Hockey" and 1 issue of "The Leafs."

The fonds consists of the final report (2 copies) and 1 copy of appendices of the Ontario Summer Games held in Peterborough 1980. Professor Peter Adams of Trent University was chairman of the 1980 Ontario Summer Games Committee. Also included are committee reports, promotion and media materials.

The fonds consists of general correspondence, editorial correspondence, financial and administrative records, editorial records, promotional records, and records of Denis Smith as editor of the Canadian Forum. Also included are photographs and original artworks as well as typescripts of articles, poetry, and short stories.

This addition to the fonds consists of Board minutes, briefs, correspondence, subject files, press clippings, periodicals and various other assorted records pertaining to the Canadian Association in Support of Native Peoples. The bulk of the fonds consists of correspondence, reports, minutes and photographs created by CASNP and its members and associated agencies. This addition to the fonds consists of 46 glass slides depicting a variety of camp scenes: people and activities, waterfront programme, visitors, sports day and other events. All of the slides were taken at Camp Pine Crest.

This fonds consists of official programs, player statistics, schedules, and prints of photographs of the Peterborough Petes, Ontario Hockey Association Major Junior "A" Hockey Club which were collected by Marlow Banks. The fonds also contains correspondence to and from Marlow Banks in reference to the sport of hockey, hockey programs, and hockey magazines.

The fonds consists of original photographs taken and collected by the Bark family. It includes: a photograph album of Lieutenant George S. Gray depicting World War I aircraft training scenes; pictures of area in and around Meaford and Collingwood, Ontario; photographs of "Lingerlonger Lodge" located south of Minden, Ontario, on Moore Lake; Sea scout and military photographs; and photographs of a road survey crew north of Dorset, Ontario (field work students from the School of Practical Science, University of Toronto.)

This addition to the fonds consists of manuscripts, correspondence, photographs and sound recordings of Arthur James Marshall Smith. It also includes 1981 "In Memorium" items.

The fonds consists of 25 black and white photographs of scenes, in and around Lindsay, Ontario, which cover such topics as parades and processions, military, industrial, social and family gatherings. The photographs were created by the Trotter family.
