The fonds consists of one photograph depicting the Davidson family having a picnic at a residence in Brighton, Ontario in the late 19th century.

This addition to the fonds consists of deeds, correspondence, school workbooks and records from a correspondence course offered in 1933-34 by the University of Toronto. There is excellent correspondence relating to the lives of Annie and Daisy Davidson which describes the lives of young women at the end of the nineteenth century struggling to educate themselves and to find appropriate employment.

Fonds is comprised of three bound volumes of correspondence, sketches, paintings, diaries, receipts, newspaper clippings, deeds, baptismal and marriage records, family trees, and scrapbooks pertaining to the Wallis family. Included also are several documents pertaining to the Forbes family, related to the Wallis family through marriage. The Peterborough-born sculptress Katherine E. Wallis (1860-1957), whose papers are located in Trent University Archives, was a member of the Wallis family.
The volume spines are inscribed as follows:

• Papers of Louisa Charles John Mary and Adah Wallis 1854-1882 (Vol. I) (Located in Box 1);
• Papers of Louisa Charles John Mary and Adah Wallis 1883-1895 (Vol. II) (Located in Box 2);
• Captain R.M. Forbes, R.N. 1774-1846 and Family (Located in Box 3).
  Fonds is also comprised of typed transcriptions of some of the items; these are located as received within the volumes.

Fil consists of photographs including photos of the 1966-67 Peter Robinson College class composite, the "anti protest" on March 26, 1968, photos of "The First" series, Rob Marland, and Rick Miller and Gate Street Blues. File also includes a photo of a rowing team featuring: Craig Allen, John Nelson, [Ivan Michival?], Graham Wilkins, [Tim?] Dorls, Jack [surname illegible], Martin Mao, Brian Holland, Tom [Sheppherd], and [Phil] Joup.

File consists of a photograph of John Wales, secretary of the Local 365, Ontario Publc Service Employees Union at Trent University (1997-1999).

File consists of photographs of John Wadland, a professor of Canadian Studies at Trent University for thirty-five years. File also includes a photo with Bill Domm and an article.

File consists of Identical portraits of Hugh Waddell. He was the Chair on the Board of Governors at Trent University (1967-1971). He is the recipient of the Eminent Service Award (1978) and a recipient of an honorary degree (Doctor of Laws) from Trent (1989).

File consists of a photograph of Bernard von Graeve, talking to a class.

File consists of a portrait of Taru Virkamaki, a Trent University Alum. Virkamaki studied Anthropology and Women's Studies.

Items are reproductions of photographs depicting a view of Ashburnham from the tower of St. John's Church, c.1874. The View was constructed from two James Little photographs located at Peterborough Centennial Museum and Archives. One item is a print identified as proof number 9/10; the other is a reduced copy of the View with attached legend showing the names of the buildings.

This series consists of film, video, and photographs of varsity and intramural athletic events and games at Trent University, including rugby, volleyball, soccer, rowing, cycling, skiing, Head of the Trent, and athletic banquets.
