Series consists of records documenting the International Camping Congress (ICC), held every three years in locations around the world. Series includes a comprehensive collection of cassette tapes related to the first ICC, the 1994 KUMBAYAH International Camping Congress held in Toronto, Ontario. The series comprises of 7 large binders containing 16 cassette tapes, one small binder containing 8 cassette tapes, and 1 single cassette tape, followed by Congress proceedings [in Japanese], along with various supporting documents related to the congress , such as correspondence and meeting minutes, travel and membership information, schedules, congress agreements, invitations, and manuals. Additionally included are 9 DVDs from the 2014 International Camping Congress. These recordings offer a unique glimpse into the speeches, presentations, and discussions held during the Congress.

Series consists of 4 photo albums that document various events, including artists and their art exhibits, guests, staff and volunteer holiday events, list of KAGS members, event and studio set-up, and exhibition demonstrations. Most locations, events and people are identified on the backside of the photographs.

Series consists of files on various projects and research conducted by the Trail Studies Unit. Files include work and projects on the Northumberland Forest, rail trails, trail mapping, university and college trails, and Ontario provincial government grant funded research projects. Series also includes 41 photographs of the Northumberland Forest trails.

Series consists of 2 copies of "Our Unreturning Brave," which accompanied the unveiling of a memorial at Peterborough Collegiate and Vocational School and includes information about students and alumni who lost their lives in World War 2.

The fonds consists mostly of Helen Marryat's (nee Helen Fowlds) personal experiences as a nurse in World War I, and her activities as a local historian. There are clippings of her articles in local newspapers, historical maps (drawn by Gerald Marryat) and other materials relating to settlement of Hastings and district such as education and nursing. Also included are the correspondence and photograph collections of her brothers, Donald and Eric (mostly from World War I), and material on Frederick Marryat (1792-1848), navy captain and novelist. In December 2001, Trent University Archives launched an online exhibit which depicts Helen Fowld's experiences in World War I. Series consists of files kept by John Wadland, relating to the Bioregionalism course taught by Professor John Wadland and Professor Tom Whillans, 1989-2003, in Haliburton. Files include correspondence, maps, data, pamphlets and booklets, financial statements, student papers, copies of articles, newspaper clippings, and materials relating to the Haliburton Bioregional Atlas.

The fonds consists of the diaries of Harriet Pengelley (1835-1836), Robert Pengelley (1835), and A.E. Marguerite (Rita) Pengelley (1940-1941); correspondence; sketchbooks (1829-1830); drawings; and photographs. In 1994, an addition was made to the fonds which included a photocopy of a diary of Robert Pengelley (1837-1840) and textual records regarding the Pengelley family. In 2018, an addition of Pengelley family genealogical information was received.

The fonds consists of the personal diaries, letter books, and store notebooks of John Northway and his son A.G. Northway and the business and corporate records of the companies founded by John Northway and Son Limited, the Northway Company Limited, and their various subsidiaries throughout Ontario. They include pension fund operations, ledgers, financial statements, investment registers etc. No records exist which show the manufacturing operations of John Northway and Son Limited.

This fonds consists of letters from a servant girl, Isabella Brownlie in Otonabee to her brother Claud in Scotland. After 1845, the letters are from Isabella and her husband James Miller. The fonds also contains two photographs, one of Isabella's brother, Claud Brownlie, with his wife, Elizabeth [Kendrick], and the second of Claud Brownlie alone, as well as a diploma for Thomas Menzies Miller, 1891.

This fonds consists of various original and copied records of the business activities of Thomas Hay, and related family data, such as birth-death records, correspondence, drawings (technical and sketches) and photographs. A small genealogical table compiled by the archivist is enclosed.

The fonds consists of the papers and records of the Ontario Camping Association delineating its operation and policies, conferences, special programmes; the Canadian Camping Magazine; and brochures, photographs, newsletters from member camps. The fonds consists of records regarding Carrying Place, Prince Edward County. It includes information of the Corrigan Family, including correspondence, legal material, and bills (1825-1947); information of the Weller-Miskin family (1815-1839); historical press clippings regarding Carrying Place (1910-1960); and a John Miller Scrapbook, (1879).

This fonds includes the letters of Anna Leveridge, written to her mother and family friends in England, describing their boat trip to Canada and pioneer life in the backwoods of Hastings County, Ontario, near Coe Hill, Marmora, and Millbridge. The fonds consists of the correspondence and manuscripts of the Peterborough author and teacher, Francis J.A. Morris, primarily relating to his interests in botany, entomology, and classical and modern literature. The papers include both prose and poetry selections, some of which are unpublished. Morris wrote for diverse journals, among them the Canadian Forum, and the Canadian Entomologist. Also among the papers are published copies of some of his works, and copies of the works of other authors, mainly in the field of natural science and botany or entomology. There are photographs included, some of which are reproduced here.

This fonds consists of the working papers of R.G. Barclay including correspondence, notes and drafts relating to a history of unemployment insurance which was written by Barclay; correspondence, memoranda, press clippings regarding guaranteed annual wage plans and health insurance; correspondence and clippings regarding pensions; miscellaneous correspondence and papers; and photographs of Unemployment Insurance Commission staff and landscapes.
