File consists of affidavits of John Brown (groom) and Mary Jane Bigelow (bride), both of Clarke Township, Durham County. Married 9 June 1897 in Bowmanville.
This fonds consists of three small notebooks: Volume 1 containing information on duties and freight rates for beer and gin from approximately 1897; Volume 2 containing recipes for alcoholic beverages and Volume 3 containing recipes for assorted chemists' balms, perfumes, cleaning products and medicine.
This collection consists of petitions, proclamations, printed acts, correspondence relating to British North America, Hudson's Bay Company, and the governance of British North America by the British crown. There are records relating to the Red River Settlement, the British Columbia Act and Oregon Territory, as well as several historical maps.
Hunter, Robert LloydThis collection consists of two photographs and five prints of various towns. The two photographs are of Port Hope and are hand-coloured. One photograph (item #1) is of Trinity College School before the fire. The other photograph (item #2) is framed and matted. It is of Port Hope's harbour taken from the western hill. There is one coloured reproduction print (item #3) of Port Hope which is matted and framed. This print was presented by Mr. and Mrs. M.E. Lewis to Trent University on the occasion of the opening of Bata Library. There is one print (item #4) of Lindsay which was produced in 1882. Another print (item #5) is entitled "Hastings on the Trent, Ont." and was drawn by Rev. M.A. Farrar and lithographed by Brown and Bautz. Item #6 is a framed black and white photograph of an 1832 pencil sketch of Government House in Peterborough which was drawn by Mary Sanford. The last print (item #7) is a framed coloured reproduction print of York from Gibralter Point from 1828.
This collection of small broadsides consists of a Grand Trunk flyer regarding the fares to the Buffalo Pan-American Exposition in 1901; an Orangeville Methodist Church broadside advertising a concert with Myrtel Tellessen Cooke from 1900; and a broadside for the King George Theatre in Cobourg, Ontario, advertising the film "Avenger" which aired before 1920.

This collection consists of a number of stereographs produced by different publishers with the majority published by Underwood & Underwood. There subject matter of the stereographs are the Boer War in South Africa from 1889 to 1902; the Timothy Eaton Company including store interior shots; views of Niagara Falls and the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, Ontario.
Underwood & UnderwoodThis collection consists of three ledgers of business accounts and one ledger of accounts for School Section No. 5, Mariposa Township, Victoria County. This is especially interesting as it goes from 1856 to 1907 giving teacher salaries and other expenses. Also included are 58 black and white photographs of Nova Scotia circa 1900.
Tolmie, Mrs. A.B.This fonds consists of black and white photographs of a men's work camp at Ragged Rapids, located near Orillia Ontario. There are also photographs are of Norwood, Birdsall's Landing, and Young's Point.
Collection consists of nine Boyd family photograph albums, 14 glass plate negatives, and several strip negatives. The images depict the lives and activities of the Boyd family of Bobcaygeon, Ontario, and include lumbering scenes, Trent Canal steamboats, buffalo/Hereford animals, and travel excursions. Also included are three "Gypsy" photographs (Peterborough, 1909), and photographs of winter sporting activities. Several photographs depict family members; many are unidentified. Also included in this collection are copies of the wills of WT.C. Boyd and Mossom Boyd.
Orgill familyThis collection consists of 81 reproduction prints of original engravings of political figures removed from books. Most of the political figures are nineteenth century public figures such as George Brown, General Simcoe, Lord Durham, Robert Baldwin, Sir John A. Macdonald, Louis Lafontaine, Guy Carleton, Egerton Ryerson and William Lyon Mackenzie.
Collection consists of 17 postcards depicting various buildings especially in the cities of Hamilton and London, but also in Belleville and Kingston, and one in Montreal, Quebec. Most of the cards are addressed to Miss Charlotte Banks, Brantford, Ontario, and are dated 1908-1911.
Collection consists of a complete set (10 volumes) of the Stereoscopic Studies of Anatomy, prepared under authority of the University of Edinburgh by Professor D.J. Cunningham, and edited by David Waterston, Professor M.H. Cryer, and Frederick E. Neres. New Revised Edition. New York: Imperial Publishing Company, 1911.
Each volume contains approx 20-26 stereographic photographs depicting the human body, mounted on board, along with textual description.

File consists of two notebooks, one of which seems to be records of the South Monaghan [Agricultural Society?], 1882-1908, plus a notebook of clippings regarding compensation for flooding of the area farm land by the Trent Canal system, 1915. Also, one portrait (unidentified) of a woman, ca. 1890.

The fonds consists of assorted documents related to Peterborough County, and the surrounding area. It includes: By-laws of North and South Monaghan townships, broadsides (sale of lands for taxes), numerous newspaper advertisements (commercial and political) and assorted postcards depicting area scenery. Also included are two photographs, one of Hon. Zaccheus Burnham, and the other, of Rev. Mark Burnham.
Peterborough miscellaneaThis collection is comprised of disparate documents collected by Professor David Macmillan. The scope of the papers is primarily North America, 1680 to 1918.
Macmillan, David StirlingThis collection consists of 32 letters. Most were written by Alan Stewart to his sister Joan Stewart. Stewart served as an engineer with the Cable Section, Canadian Corps, British Expeditionary Force during World War 1 in France and Belgium. There are 3 photographs of Alan Stewart in the collection.
Stewart, AlanThis fonds consists of bound volumes of newspaper clippings, mostly concerning the Legislative Assembly of Ontario between 1916 and 1919. Four of the six volumes have the name J.J. Preston inside the front cover. One volume has the name J.C. Elliott on it. Elliott was the member for Middlesex West. The newspapers are from "The Globe" and the "Daily Mail and Empire".

This fonds consists of letters from F.A. Verner to C.J. Townsend relating to the disposition of his pictures and paintings. From the appearances in these papers, Verner's most-oft-painted subject was the Canadian bison.

Keystone View CompanyThis fonds consists of a dedication program for the cenotaph honouring the heroes of the Great War (World War I) in Millbrook on June 23, 1921. There is also a photograph of the Millbrook Lacrosse Team of 1881 who were the Champions of Central Ontario. The photograph has a list of names affixed to the back of it.

It also consists of one black and white photograph of a reception and speech of Col. Sam Hughes at Lindsay, Ontario, on his return from the Boer War, on October 3, 1900.
Hughes, SamuelFile includes 17 photographs of archaeological sites in Greece, some identified as Monemvasia, believed to have been taken by Blake while accompanying archaeologist Gilbert Bagnani on a dig in 1923. Also included are 21 photographs of medieval and 16th-17th century French streets and houses; it is probable that these relate to Blake’s own research or to that of Gilbert Bagnani.
