Fonds consists of records documenting the Stinson family, primarily the legal and political career of T.H. Stinson. Family records include Christmas cards, wedding invitations, family portraits, travel records (postcards, booklets, photographs), and Ella Stinson's (nee Robson) correspondence.

This collection consists of 278 slides taken by Rosemary McConkey during her work as a nutritionist in Malaya (1962) and in Nigeria (1965). McConkey was part of a team of medical personnel and scientists from the University of Ohio who undertook surveys of nutritional needs in these two areas. McConkey has supplied a detailed listing of the slides (below) and has also included a 45 r.p.m. recording of the national anthem of Malaya "Negara Ku,", six books relating to the two areas and a map of Malaya. Fonds consists of records documenting the administrative and social activities of the Peterborough District Labour Council, with particular emphasis between 1990 and 2003. Canadian, provincial, and local labour histories are well-documented. Records include correspondence between PDLC executives and other labour leaders; published (e.g., books) and unpublished (e.g., grey literature) material relating to labour rights, legislation, and union activities; photographs of community events and partnerships in Peterborough; and ephemera, such as posters and brochures.

Administrative records include correspondence, by-laws, agendas and minutes of meetings, motions and resolutions, reports, financial statements, membership forms, and directories. Of note are PDLC minutes between 1974-2013 (incomplete) and correspondence relating to activism and outreach. Some PDLC newsletters are included amongst administrative records, where they were part of the original order.

Published material includes books, periodicals, and reports relating to labour history, social issues, and legislation. Published material also includes the PDLC newsletter (1975-1996), copies of Labour Review (1970-2009), and copies of the Trades and Labour Congress journal (1954-1955).

Unpublished material includes research papers, submissions to provincial and federal government, presentations, collective agreements, and manuals.

Photographs and other media include records relating to annual Day of Mourning events, Canada Day, Labour Day, fundraising initiatives, local partnerships, and material intended for publication in Labour Review magazine.

This fonds is organized into six series: (1) Administrative records; (2) Newsletter collection; (3) Magazine and journal collection; (4) Canadian Labour Congress constitutional conventions; (5) Photographs, sound recordings, and video recordings; and (6) Pamphlet collection.

Collection consists of various reports, newsletters, publications, and other resources that were kept in the Native Studies Reading Room of the Bata Library before its renovation.

Fonds consists of records created and compiled by Dr. Margaret Doxey in her capacity as a professor in the Department of Political Studies at Trent University (1967-1991), as well as family photographs, poetry, and fiction. Publications written by Dr. Doxey following her retirement from Trent University are also included. Files documenting her professional life include publications for and about the United Nations (1996-1997 and 2007), professional correspondence, and collected publications. Fonds also includes creative writing associated with her professional life, poetry, stories, and records relating to Dr. Doxey’s family and childhood, including a list of her encounters with royalty and a small selection of family photographs. The oversized box contains a tribute scrapbook album from Dr. Doxey’s retirement from Trent University in 1991.
