In 1994, an addition was made to the fonds which included a photocopy of a diary of Robert Pengelley (1837-1840) and textual records regarding the Pengelley family. In 2018, an addition of Pengelley family genealogical information was received.

Also included in the fonds are two pencil sketches and a photograph of another sketch. One sketch of two farms and a river with a steamboat on it, but otherwise unidentified. The other sketch is of the Anderson house, the Ashfield house, Mr. Harry Fowld's house and the Wanamaker's house, all in Hastings, Ontario. The photographic reproduction is of a sketch entitled Hastings on the Trent, Ontario. The watercolours and sketches were created by Rev. Michael A. Farrar.

Research notes encompass such nineteenth-century writers as Walter Pater, Oscar Wilde, John Ruskin and Algernon Swinburne.

The fonds consists of nine oil paintings, 8 of which are on board and one on canvas material, of sites in the Townships of Burleigh and Otonabee and were painted between 1941 and 1943. Six pictures deal with the Mount Julian/Stoney Lake area, while the other two are pictures of sites at the Village of Keene in Otonabee Township. The last is a picture of a pioneer cabin, in Burleigh Township.

This fonds consists of correspondence, accounts, notes, clippings and articles relating to the conference held at Trent University on January 24 and 25, 1975. There are also 3 copies of Journal of Canadian Studies edition with papers from the conference.

This accession consists of four books. The first book, The Holy Bible, is a pulpit bible printed by John Baskerville [c.1750], and includes the dedication to King James 1 and the Apocrypha. Handwritten family records, from Thomas A. Stewart's father down through several generations, appear on the inside of the front cover and at the beginning of the New Testament. Included with the bible is a description and history of the book, as provided by Reverend John Shearman. The second book is a "Commonplace" book. The notebook inscribed "Frances Browne, 1811", reflects Frances Stewart's taste in verse and sayings and is handwritten except for a few clippings inter-leaved. A photocopy of the "Commonplace" book is also included.

Two additional books were added in 2004. The first of these is Frances Browne's music book, 1811, and consists of sheet music bound together inside a leather cover; the inscription on the cover reads "Miss F. Browne, 1811." The second of these is Church of England, Book of Common Prayer and Administration of the Sacraments..., [170-]; the title page is missing.
