              This fonds consists of two items: a poster with white and red lettering on a blue background, advertising English Bulldog puppies for sale at Lakeland Kennels in Bewdley, Ontario, proprietors H.J. and Mrs. Goss; and a 1948 certificate naming "Lakeland Lucky Ace" a champion, by the Canadian Kennel Club.

              Fonds consists of records documenting the Stinson family, primarily the legal and political career of T.H. Stinson. Family records include Christmas cards, wedding invitations, family portraits, travel records (postcards, booklets, photographs), and Ella Stinson's (nee Robson) correspondence.

              Collection includes a poster titled "Second Annual Bay Bell Memorial Race at Kawartha Downs" and 2 photographs with race horses: "Hiawatha Parade", 1984; "Francis T. Return", 1985. The race was sponsored by The Social and Athletic Association, Trent University. Bay Bell was Head of Security at Trent University, 1967-1983.

              Series consists of books, periodicals, reports, brochures, and published and unpublished papers relating to labour history in Canada and the United States. Topics covered include the North American Free Trade Agreement, unemployment insurance, workplace safety, social issues (e.g., homelessness; food insecurity), and provincial and federal legislation (e.g., Bill C-12; Bill C-11; Bill C-23). Collective agreements in Peterborough and Ontario are well represented through several pocket-sized volumes. Unions include United Packinghouse Food Allied Workers of America, Shoeworker’s Union, Textile Workers Union of America, Canadian Labour Congress Federal Union, and Amalgamated Silver, Jewelry and Allied Workers' Union. Companies include Quaker Oats Company, Bata Shoe Company, Huyck Corporation, Canadian Coleman Company, and Benedict-Proctor Manufacturing Co. Limited. Series also includes several shop steward’s manuals ([1947?]-[1949?]) and two union ritual manuals (1949 and n.d.). Series is organized chronologically, then alphabetically.

              Cobourg Area broadsides collection

              This collection consists of an undated broadside of furniture and house furnishings of Disney Bros., Bowmanville, and an undated broadside of ladies' and children's clothing, Hardy's: The Hewson store in Cobourg, Ontario. It also contains a broadside detailing conditions of sale of the Innes Mill near Grafton dated 1876. With this broadside is an original bill of sale, signed by purchaser George Fowler and dated December 12, 1876.

              This item is a by-law which sets forth the provisions for granting certificates to tavern-keepers or other gaming houses selling spirituous liquors, along with the costs of such licenses and the applicable fines for breaches of the law. Notation on the back of this item indicates that this copy of the by-law was submitted as evidence in the case of Cumming vs. Faucher, March 16, 1872.

              This collection of small broadsides consists of a Grand Trunk flyer regarding the fares to the Buffalo Pan-American Exposition in 1901; an Orangeville Methodist Church broadside advertising a concert with Myrtel Tellessen Cooke from 1900; and a broadside for the King George Theatre in Cobourg, Ontario, advertising the film "Avenger" which aired before 1920.

              This fonds consists of correspondence, sketches and class lecture notes of Erik Loder. Loder's theories of art are discernible in his jottings and notes. Also included are numerous art catalogues and exhibition notes; slides of Loder art works; sketches, drawings and paintings; personal cards and letters sent at the time of Loder's death in 1993; art auction and sale lists.
