Fonds consists of records documenting the Stinson family, primarily the legal and political career of T.H. Stinson. Family records include Christmas cards, wedding invitations, family portraits, travel records (postcards, booklets, photographs), and Ella Stinson's (nee Robson) correspondence.

Fonds is organized into series by the three accessions making up this fonds. Please see series level descriptions for further detail.

• 180-184. Stewart & others at a school (Note: Stewart appears to be giving a lecture; #184 has a list of names on the back identifying the students in the photo)
• 185-186. Stewart and "Master Ames", who won the silver Cup for "the best pony outfit driven by a small owner"; the Cup was a "memorial to the late Mr. Stewart Houston" and was presented by Stewart, 1910 (newspaper clipping attached)
• 187-190. Stewart and others on sleighs in the snow
• Stewart presenting Glen Park School with a reproduction of Dutch art
• Stewart at Shanty Bay (enclosed in a Christmas card [1972]

Folder includes photos 268-380: Stewart and Gilbert's home in Port Hope, called "Vogrie after another, ancestral home" (City & Country Home, March 1987, p.80) - several photos of the exterior of the house, the grounds, the barn raising, the building of the library, farming, stump pulling, 3 aerial photos, several unidentified photos of a baby on the grounds of Vogrie [1959], etc.; also several negatives.

File includes photographs 201-267. Stewart and Gilbert with their Suluki dogs (Note: #266-267 are of Stewart and Gilbert dressed in what may be Arabic dress, with their dogs, possibly in [Egypt]; also, several negatives).

File consists of photographs 381-386: Photographs of Strathallan, Stewart's family home before she married. One the photos is on the front of a postcard which was sent by Augusta, Stewart's mother, to Mrs. (Minnie) Forsyth-Grant, Augusta's sister.

File includes photographs 166-179: Stewart as an adult. Photographs 177-179 are prints taken of a portrait painted by Edward Halliday, 1936.
