Fonds is comprised of audio tapes, scrapbooks and photographs related to Betty Lynn Viney’s experience as a student at Trent University from 1965 to 1969.
Schwab, Betty LynnThis addition to the fonds consists of photocopies of correspondence of Anya Seton; a play called the "Rufus letters" 1890; a manuscript of a play; and an unpublished autobiography. The fonds also contains original manuscript and typescript articles by Elise Thompson including an interview, biographical notes and photocopies of articles on Seton. There are also photocopies of letters and documents pertaining to Seton's relationship with Grace Seton. As well in 1992 an inventory list was added of all Seton paintings in Philmot Ranch, Cimarron, New Mexico, including an inventory of Seton paintings in the Smithsonian as well as correspondence regarding a Seton painting.
Wadland, JohnFonds consists of materials relating to conferences, colloquiums, and workshops in which Professor John Marsh was involved, and to courses taught by Professor Marsh at Trent University. Also included is miscellaneous correspondence, and reports, submissions, papers, articles, and books written by and edited by Professor Marsh. Included in the fonds are four photographs and six cassette tapes.
Marsh, JohnThis collection consists of items taken out from the collection of books from the Margaret Laurence collection at Catharine Parr Traill College. Publications by Laurence which are referred to include "The Prophets Camel Bell", "Long Drums and Cannons", "The Christmas Birthday Story", "The Diviners", "Six Darn Cows" and "Manawaka works". Other records have information which refers to, or are from, Helen Margaret Buss, Philip Shirley, Scott Hutcheson, Angus Mowat, Al Purdy, William Ready, and the book "Poet Cop" by Hans Jewinski.

There is information on social issues, poverty, education and women's issues included within the fonds.
Johnston, RichardThis addition to the fonds consists of deeds, correspondence, school workbooks and records from a correspondence course offered in 1933-34 by the University of Toronto. There is excellent correspondence relating to the lives of Annie and Daisy Davidson which describes the lives of young women at the end of the nineteenth century struggling to educate themselves and to find appropriate employment.

Young Women's Christian AssociationThis fonds consists of Young Women's Christian Association scrapbooks from 1976-1993, and a photograph of the YWCA swim club "The Silver Finnettes" from the 1930's. Also included are several identified and unidentified photographs of YWCA staff and volunteers, and of buildings. There are also slides of the staff, and miscellaneous slides.

Standen, WilliamThis fonds consists of letters from a servant girl, Isabella Brownlie in Otonabee to her brother Claud in Scotland. After 1845, the letters are from Isabella and her husband James Miller. The fonds also contains two photographs, one of Isabella's brother, Claud Brownlie, with his wife, Elizabeth [Kendrick], and the second of Claud Brownlie alone, as well as a diploma for Thomas Menzies Miller, 1891.
Miller, IsabellaThis fonds consists of documents and correspondence relating to the presentation of Trent University honorary degrees to Dr. J. Harry Ebbs and Mary Northway. The fonds also contains documents relating to Mary's death and her bequest of two million dollars to Trent University, various documents relating to Ontario camps and to the Brora Centre, and miscellaneous photographs.

Camp TanamakoonThis fonds consists of: correspondence with Vilhjalmur Stefansson, Clifford Wilson and others relating to Arctic explorations; several photographs including some of the construction of the Peterborough Lift Lock and of downtown Peterborough, Ontario circa 1900; and newspaper clippings of book reviews. Leggott familyFonds consists of material relating to the administration and programming of the INSTRUCT Programme. Files includes reports, journal articles, event flyers, pamphlets, correspondence, newsletters, budget reports, research material, and other documentation detailing the Programme in both English and Spanish. Photographs and slides include images of meetings, travel, seminars and work done with local communities in Ecuador and Mexico and at Trent University. VHS tapes includes a recording of the “Questioning” Conference panel, the conservation of the Imbkucha and Lago san Pablo watershed, and on the festival of Inti Raymi. CD-ROMs include photos of an INSTRUCT workshop on women and environment and another on local traditions.
INSTRUCT ProgrammeThis fonds consists mostly of correspondence between Mary Northway and Professors John Wadland and Alan Wilson, and relates primarily to the Brora Centre, Neathern Trust, and Windy Pine. Also included is an 8 mm film of Windy Pine (3 minutes, silent, colour), featuring Flora Morrison and her dog Charlie at Driftwood cabin, Windy Pines in the 1970s (also copied on DVD), and 2 photographs, one of which is of Mary Northway.
Northway, Mary LouiseFonds consists of records related to the Beta Sigma Phi of Peterborough, Ontario. Correspondence, minutes, notes, membership lists, treasurer reports, photographs, and newspaper clippings pertaining to the Area Council, the Laureate Delta Beta chapter, the Delta Chi chapter, the Epsilon Mu chapter, and the Xi Iota chapter are included. Also included are 13 photographs of inaugural activities of the Peterborough Beta Sigma Phi in the 1940s.

Harrison, Spencer J.The fonds consists of two ledgers and loose items relating to the business of the Baulch Family: one cash book, business at Hampton, Ontario, 1881-1890; ledger, R. Baulch and Son, Port Hope, 1889-1904 and 1916-1937. The loose items include agreements between Joseph H. Baulch and various others to lease property from Baulch; tax notices and receipts; and a letter from Will Baulch. Also included is one photograph (tintype) of unidentified male.

There are also many photographs, mostly from the 1960's, of events and of people, who were associated with the Peterborough Young Women's Christian Association.

Young Women's Christian AssociationFonds consists of photographs (ca. 60) related to the families of Jacob Way (1804-1882), originally of Northport, Prince Edward County, Ontario, and his two sons, Edward Hoag Way (1845-1922) and Gideon Shepard Way (1853-1937). Also included are death certificates, copies of clippings, and detailed typed documents which provide genealogical and biographical information pertaining to each of the families; these were prepared by family descendant, Yvonne A. Green. Ms. Green also provided identification for some of the photographs which had previously been unidentified.
Way familyThis fonds consists of a bibliography of William Breyfogle's works and a biography. Also included is a photograph of Breyfogle which was taken by Roy Photo Studio, Peterborough in November, 1938. The covering letter from Velma McWilliams who compiled the bibliography is included as well.
