The fonds is comprised of one volume which contains Roll Book of Members, dated April 19, 1886, and Minutes of Regular Meetings of Court # 15, from September 1, 1891 to March 17, 1896 of the Independent Order of Foresters from Cobourg, Ontario.

The home is located at 1202 Morton Line, Cavan, Ontario and was owned previously by a farmer named Daniel Nill (1915-[1985]). Included are letters written by Frances [ ], New York, to Daniel Nill between 1933 and 1940. Also included are letters, agreements, pamphlets, etc. associated with John Mason, William Mason, Orlie Mason, and G.A. Mason. These items are dated between 1886 and 1915.

This fonds includes the letters of Anna Leveridge, written to her mother and family friends in England, describing their boat trip to Canada and pioneer life in the backwoods of Hastings County, Ontario, near Coe Hill, Marmora, and Millbridge. Also included are two land documents (1927; 1938) of the property donated to Trent University in 1998 by Marjorie McLean Oliver in memory of her father, James McLean Oliver.

This fonds consists of photocopies of the Ernest Thompson Seton papers from the American Museum of Natural History, New York, and the Seton Museum, New Mexico. Also included are photocopies of articles about Seton and research notes for Professor John Wadland's thesis "Ernest Thompson Seton: Man in Nature and the Progressive Era, 1880-1915."
