Fonds consists of correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes, reports, photographs, tapes of WSA meetings, news releases, newspaper articles, legal documents, and publicity materials pertaining to the WSA. Also included are background documents and discussion papers for the Forestry/Land Use Management Plan developed by the WSA, and research materials (primarily photocopies) pertaining to forests and logging, fish and fisheries, wildlife, biodiversity and environmental matters.

Fonds consists of material relating to the research and initiatives the Trent-Fleming Trail Studies Unit engaged in. This collection of papers was received from Professor Roy Edwards in 1987. Most of the materials concern the boat Turtle Two which was owned by the Biology Department at Trent University and used for river-based experiments. The word Turtle was derived from Trent University Research and Teaching Laboratory for Exper­imental Work. The materials cover the years 1968-1973.

Also included are Michael Treadwell's correspondence and brochures of various racing sailboats, and material gathered from other universities' athletics programs.

Fonds is comprised of records created by or collected by Stephen Ogden documenting the Tiny Township Stop Dump Site 41 campaign. Dating 1979 through 2016, it represents a significant episode in Canadian environment activism and is comprehensive in scope. Fonds consists of papers, articles, and manuscripts of books written by Robert Bowley. Included is research material, photographs, slides, and negatives relating to the postal history of Smith Township, Peterborough, and the surrounding area. Included also are letters dated 1823-1878 of the Baptie family who were situated in Ida, Ontario, and extensive research material related to Captain Charles Rubidge, Sir Sandford Fleming, the Pengelley/Roche families, S.J. Carver, and local historic sites. This fonds is a tremendous resource for information related to Peterborough and area in general.

This addition to the fonds consists of manuscripts for the "Morningside Years" and "Friends, Moments, Countryside", correspondence between Peter Gzowski, McClelland and Stewart and other editorial staff. There are 'mail bag' and 'ROA' (read on air) letters addressed to the Morningside show, some of which are included in the "Morningside Years." Also included is one complete radio program schedule and a program for "Peter Gzowski's Invitationals play the Winter Garden." There are also nineteen computer disks consisting of letters, transcripts of "Morningside" interviews, and chapters of the "Morningside Years". Twenty-four audio cassette tapes of Gzowski's interviews with various Canadian authors and scientists such as Margaret Laurence, Margaret Atwood, Dr. Tak Mak, William O. Mitchell, Robertson Davies, William Unruh, Jean Chretien, Alice Munro, Timothy Findley are also included. As well, there are a total of six photographs of Peter Gzowski and his staff.

This fonds consists of additions of collected historical records of the Ontario Camping Association. It includes: camp brochures; the records of various camps; OCA Board of Directors membership lists, minutes, agendas, financial records, by-laws, and reports from annual meetings; records from the Woodmanship leaders school; Day camp Committee minutes, correspondence, proposals, reports and seminar records; and records collected by the Archives Committee.

Fonds is a research collection comprised of handwritten notes, newspaper clippings, photocopies of published and primary materials, transcriptions of letters, video and cassette tapes. Subject areas pertain primarily to Catharine Parr Traill, Susanna Moodie, Robertson Davies, and a conference held at Trent University in honour of Timothy Findley (1997). Also included are handwritten notes, correspondence with researchers, publishers and editors, and copies of talks, papers and manuscripts by Professor Peterman.

This fonds consists mostly of correspondence between Mary Northway and Professors John Wadland and Alan Wilson, and relates primarily to the Brora Centre, Neathern Trust, and Windy Pine. Also included is an 8 mm film of Windy Pine (3 minutes, silent, colour), featuring Flora Morrison and her dog Charlie at Driftwood cabin, Windy Pines in the 1970s (also copied on DVD), and 2 photographs, one of which is of Mary Northway.

This fonds consists of the personal and collected papers of the Honourable Leslie M. Frost, former Premier of Ontario. It contains correspondence; letter books from World War I through his legal and political career to post-retirement phase of public and private directorships; scrapbooks of Leslie Frost and his wife Gertrude; and historical files on various subjects, including the Frost family, the Carew family, various political figures, and Victoria, Peterborough and Haliburton Counties. The fonds is especially valuable for the study of Conservatism and it includes collected campaign material from 1891 to 1971, material on federal and provincial elections, and original and copied historical material on many individuals and events. Also included in the fonds are photographs, miscellaneous graphic materials, and audio visual materials.
