This addition to the fonds consists of the Association for Canadian Studies correspondence, personnel files, constitution, membership files, materials related to Association for Canadian Studies awards, publications, workshops and conferences, publicity, fundraising, meeting minutes, Quebec regional materials and records on Canadian Studies as a discipline in the educational system.

This fonds consists of documents pertaining to Arthur James Marshall Smith, i.e. birth and baptismal documents, a marriage certificate and contract, passports, U.S.A. naturalization documents, his death certificate, etc. Also included is his Governor General Annual Literary Award medal, received in 1944, and two personal photographs dated 1925 and c1932. Correspondence regarding the purchase of the A.J.M. Smith collection by Trent University, and lists of books, hand copied in pencil, are included. Other correspondence addressed to A.J.M. Smith and to Peter Smith from Buffy Glassco, Ralph Gustafson, Leon Edel, and others is included.

Fonds consists of Professor Alan Brunger's research material pertaining to the historical geography of Bon Echo Provincial Park and Algonquin Provincial Park. Also included is historical geography research material and microfilm reels relating to the Peter Robinson Irish emigration to the Peterborough area.

The fonds consists of records from the Kawartha Artists Gallery and Studio, including administrative files and meeting minutes, artist biographies, newspaper articles, material from art shows and events, correspondence, newsletters, and photographs and scrapbooks. Events include the Kawartha Artists Gallery and Studio 20th anniversary show, general studio workshops, and the best of high school art annual show.

Fonds includes photographs and textual records about the student life of Brenda Brownlee, Class of 1966, at Trent University. Folders include admission letters and correspondence from Trent university and the University of Toronto, convocation programs (1969, 1970), and Brownlee’s academic records. Also included are production programs for “Gilbert and Sullivan,” “Patience,” and “The Mikado,” along with 13 small black and white photographs of the rehearsal of The Mikado (1970). There are also 3 larger black and white photos of the Champlain College exterior buildings. Additionally included is a booklet related to the Trent Development Fund, titled “An Individual Experience,” which contains several black and white photos of Trent University campus, and additional information.

This addition to the fonds consists of correspondence (original and third party), news releases, reports and photographs regarding Richard Johnston and his work as New Democratic Party representative in Scarborough West from 1979 to 1990. There are also some papers concerning his work since retiring from politics.

Item is a framed unnamed watercolour of a house with a woman standing in front. The inscription reads: Olive Langley. /50. A further identification tag on the frame reads: Peterborough Artist and Author.

This fonds consists of glass slides which were used as teaching materials at Mount St. Joseph. The subjects include Tennyson: Idylls of the King, 55 slides; physiography, 15 slides; zoology, 5 slides; physics, 4 slides; English and history, 7 slides; and, European history, 6 slides. Ten of the slides in physiography, 2 slides in botany and 1 slide in chemistry were made by high school students in Lindsay.

This fonds consists of 8 original pencil drawings, signed M. Smithson. The drawings are of fruits, Roman and castle ruins as well as pastoral scenes.

This fonds consists of two items: a poster with white and red lettering on a blue background, advertising English Bulldog puppies for sale at Lakeland Kennels in Bewdley, Ontario, proprietors H.J. and Mrs. Goss; and a 1948 certificate naming "Lakeland Lucky Ace" a champion, by the Canadian Kennel Club.

This fonds consists of six photographs of "Blyth", the home of John Langton and his family. The photos were taken in 1911 and 1912. The home, which has since been demolished, was close to Fenelon Falls on Sturgeon Lake. The people in the photographs are not identified. Written on an envelope, included with the photographs, is "1911 & 1912. Old photos of "Blyth" Given to M. McCulloch by Mrs. [Frances] George Douglas."

The three photographs are of a logging crew, ca. 1902, a member of which is George Noyes, who helped build the Peterborough Lift Lock; George Noyes aboard the "Bob Hall" (boat); and the "Bob Hall" anchored at a dock. One additional photograph added in 2007 is an 8" x 10" photograph of a logging crew which included George Noyes in the back row, looking away from the camera.

This fonds consists of miscellaneous personal documents relating to Gilbert Monture, including his family tree and a copy of his birth certificate. Also included are various speeches and articles by Monture, correspondence ranging from 1912-1983, newspaper clippings, miscellaneous photographs, materials relating to Pauline Johnson, correspondence and minutes relating to the Canadian Correction Association project "Indians and the Law", and documents regarding an exhibit at the Indian Hall of Fame, Canadian National Exhibition.

Fonds consists of two hand-sewn booklets, each with five original architectural drawings of the "Hamilton District of Newcastle" gaol and court house. Each sheet has a title depicting the section of the building drawn, i.e., "Ground plan of a court house and gaol to be built at Hamilton district of Newcastle as proposed by Archibald Fraser." All sheets are signed by Archibald Fraser and are undated. Some of the sheets are coloured.
