This fonds consists of glass slides which were used as teaching materials at Mount St. Joseph. The subjects include Tennyson: Idylls of the King, 55 slides; physiography, 15 slides; zoology, 5 slides; physics, 4 slides; English and history, 7 slides; and, European history, 6 slides. Ten of the slides in physiography, 2 slides in botany and 1 slide in chemistry were made by high school students in Lindsay.

This fonds consists of a dedication program for the cenotaph honouring the heroes of the Great War (World War I) in Millbrook on June 23, 1921. There is also a photograph of the Millbrook Lacrosse Team of 1881 who were the Champions of Central Ontario. The photograph has a list of names affixed to the back of it.

This fonds consists of photographs of some of John Graves Simcoe's relatives. There is one photograph of "Aunt Ann Griffin" in front of a fireplace. There is one tintype of an unidentified elderly woman and another photograph of an unidentified elderly woman who was photographed by Ewing Photographer of Port Hope and Peterborough.

This fonds consists of a photograph of the steamship Lintonia which plied the waters between Lakefield and Young's Point. There is also a ticket for the Empress in this fonds which was sister ship to the Lintonia.

This fonds consists of research material, manuscripts, published articles and correspondence of Blodwen Davies with the Saskatchewan Arts Board and the National Museum.

This fonds consists of records relating to the professional and personal lives of Dr. Henry Turner (Sr.) and Dr. Henry A. Turner (Jr.), both medical doctors of the Millbrook area. The medical publications, prescription day books, office records, customer account books, transaction day books, stock books, business and domestic records and invoices, glass x-rays, and correspondence depict the lives of each man respectively, spanning the years 1872 to 1936. Also included are personal and business-related records of Alice Turner, nurse, daughter of H.A. Turner (Sr.). A Farmers and Business Directory for Peterborough and the United Counties has been catalogued and removed to the Trent Collection.

This addition to the fonds consists of slide-tape presentation material which includes tapes and slides with a list of contents of the University Women's Club of Winnipeg, 1974; CFUW Journals; minutes, membership lists, and a "Tribute to Margaret White", of the University Women's Club, Peterborough; minutes, reports, and financial reports, etc. of the CFUW annual meeting Edmonton, 1989. Additional records were added in 1991 and 1992 which include CFUW Journals, tributes to Mrs. Vera Hickey and Miss Mildred Bailey; minutes of meetings including the Annual General Meeting; tributes to Miss Helen McGregor and Miss Katherine Macdougall; the constitution of the club and the "Long Range Plan" of June, 1990.

This addition to the fonds consists of photographs (approximately 141) taken by George Douglas on his many canoe trips [ca. 1920] in the Chandos, Burleigh, and Anstruther townships area and encompassing such towns and waterways as Lakefield, Stoney Lake, Loon Lake, Eel's Creek and Apsley. There is also a photocopy of an article entitled "George Douglas - Trip to Loon Lake 1925".

This fonds has extensive personal genealogical research material collected by John A. Bradshaw, Crown Attorney and Clerk of the Peace for the City of Peterborough from 1948 to 1974. The fonds includes correspondence with genealogists, notes, photocopies of related passages, poems, and chapters of books and other published material, photographs and a 1757 edition of The London Chronicle.

This fonds consists of the Tuer family records. It includes family photographs and correspondence; estate records (including the "Kilshaw" records); last will and testament of Thomas Tuer 1873; music examination records of Mary Tuer; and teaching certificates of Margaret Tuer 1899-1918.

This addition to the fonds consists of publicity materials such as photographs, slides and newspaper clippings for Arbor Theatre.

This fonds consists of correspondence, draft manuscripts, interview tapes and research notes pertaining to biographies of Foster Hewitt and Conn Smythe, etc.; notes and records resulting from Mr. Young's participation in the Royal Commission on Violence in the Communications Industry; and correspondence between Young and fellow media personalities including Robertson Davies, Peter Trueman, John Bassett and Pierre Berton. One of the largest series of records relates to the biography of his son, Neil Young.

This fonds consists of correspondence, research notes and original documents which were collected by Professor David Macmillan during his research. Items such as voters' lists for Victoria County, Ontario and a series of broadsides advertising land in Victoria County; documents from the Hudson's Bay Company, East Indies; minutes from the Barbados Board of Legislative Council, a Sydney Australia Company, and the Sydney Australian Committee of the New Steam Company; and a number of reproduction engravings and prints are included in the fonds. Also included in the fonds is a copy of Macmillan's 1964 Ph.D. thesis: "The Scottish Australian Connection..." and assorted pamphlets relating to New South Wales.

This fonds consists of a bibliography of William Breyfogle's works and a biography. Also included is a photograph of Breyfogle which was taken by Roy Photo Studio, Peterborough in November, 1938. The covering letter from Velma McWilliams who compiled the bibliography is included as well.

This fonds consists of one school class photograph, and negative, from S.S. #5 from 1900. The names of all the children and the teacher are listed on the back of the photograph. There is one photograph, and negative of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Hope and which had belonged to Ross Comrie. There is also one photograph, and negative, of John, Hugh and Alexander McFee. There is family history written on the back of the photograph about each McFee and their families as well as where John McFee lived.

This fonds consists of two watercolours with one identified as Hastings, Ontario, and and the other identified as Forest City. Also included in the fonds are two pencil sketches and a photograph of another sketch. One sketch of two farms and a river with a steamboat on it, but otherwise unidentified. The other sketch is of the Anderson house, the Ashfield house, Mr. Harry Fowld's house and the Wanamaker's house, all in Hastings, Ontario. The photographic reproduction is of a sketch entitled Hastings on the Trent, Ontario. The watercolours and sketches were created by Rev. Michael A. Farrar.

This fonds consists of a summer journal written by Shirley Quan who spent a summer at Baker Lake in the Northwest Territories as a volunteer. A copy of her Pressed Arctic Flower project is included.

This item is a scrapbook containing assorted clippings from between 1827 and 1844. Many of the clippings are about temperance and religious matters. The scrapbook is made from a copy of the Appendix to the Journal of Assembly, Upper Canada, Session 1839-40, Vol. 1, Part 2.

This scrapbook contains clippings about World War I and photographs of the Trent Canal and River system including Lakefield Canoe Co., Kirkfield and the Peterborough Lift Lock. The people in the photographs are unidentified.
