Shirley Quan worked for the Department of Native Affairs as a student volunteer during the summer of 1962. She was sent to Baker Lake in the Northwest Territories. She completed an arctic wild flower project while she was there.
Scope and content
This fonds consists of a summer journal written by Shirley Quan who spent a summer at Baker Lake in the Northwest Territories as a volunteer. A copy of her Pressed Arctic Flower project is included.
The pressed flower book is very fragile. Handle with extreme care and caution.
