There are also miscellaneous records concerning the winding-up of the Northway Company Limited of which Dr. Mary Northway was president.
Northway familyThis addition to the fonds consists of minutes, by-laws, correspondence, financial records, and membership lists of the Society of Camp Directors. Also included is a questionnaire on canoe trip practices and a proposal for a new project titled "Why Children go to Camp."
Society of Camp DirectorsThis fonds consists of additions of collected historical records of the Ontario Camping Association. It includes: camp brochures; the records of various camps; OCA Board of Directors membership lists, minutes, agendas, financial records, by-laws, and reports from annual meetings; records from the Woodmanship leaders school; Day camp Committee minutes, correspondence, proposals, reports and seminar records; and records collected by the Archives Committee.
Ontario Camps AssociationThe fonds consists of a selection of photocopies of records from the Mary S. Edgar Papers from Queen's University Archives. Included are: correspondence, diaries, and biographical notes. The records deal primarily with Mary Edgar's involvement in organized children's camping at her Camp Glen Bernard, near Sundridge, Ontario. The records range from 1920 to 1970.
Edgar, Mary S.This addition to the fonds consists of the Canadian Camping Association's Board Executive minutes, reports and documents from 1976 to 1981. Also included are: a 1967 annual report; provincial association liason materials; Canadian Camping Magazine editorial committee minutes, reports and correspondence; a 1968 Canoeing Instructor Course manual; a survey of camp directors and staff, 1975; a CCA Task Force final report, 1977; and two audio disc recordings of a talk by John Fisher (Mr. Canada) delivered on CBC, 26 March 1950.
Canadian Camping AssociationThis addition to the fonds consists of 46 glass slides depicting a variety of camp scenes: people and activities, waterfront programme, visitors, sports day and other events. All of the slides were taken at Camp Pine Crest.
Camp Pine CrestThis fonds consists of correspondence in regards to camping, typescripts of books written by Ron Perry, and correspondence with publishers.
Perry, Ronald H.This collection consists of sound and video recordings of Generals with camping personalities undertaken by other camping associates. This artificial collection was accumulated by Trent Archives and includes tape recordings found in other camping accessions. Also included are recordings of conference sessions and cassette tape recordings of sessions, addresses and keynote speeches given at the International Camping Congress held at Toronto, January 1983.
Canadian Camping AssociationThis fonds consists of a scrapbook containing photographs depicting Oak Ridge Camp activities and canoe trips. Included in the album are newspaper clippings relating to Stoney Lake Regatta. Photographs of Mount Rushmore, Catalina, Yellowstone Park and La Jolla Beach can also be found in this collection.
Oak Ridge CampThis fonds consists of records, photographs and slides of Windy Pine, private cottage and cabins owned by Dr. Mary Northway and Flora Morrison. They ran girls canoe trips at the camp during the 1940s.
