    Biographical history

    Cyril Greenland, Ph.D., is employed at the Museum of Mental Health Services (Toronto), Inc. He had previously been with the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry in Toronto, and the Department of Health, Parliament Buildings, Toronto. He and his family were personal friends of Blodwen Davies.

    Custodial history

    The fonds was created by and in the custody Cyril Greenland before he donated it to the Trent University Archives.

    Scope and content

    This fonds consists of correspondence between Cyril (and Jane) Greenland and Blodwen Davies. There are references to Blodwen's research on Dr. Maurice Bucke, and also to her research on the Mennonites, and other personal matters. There is also a letter from Robertson Davies to Blodwen regarding her research on Bucke in which he also refers to the Feinberg-Walt Whitman collection.
