This fonds is comprised of typescripts of newspaper articles from the Peterborough Weekly Despatch, the Peterborough Review and the Peterborough Examiner. The articles have been arranged chronologically under a number of subject headings by the donor.

This fonds consists of bound volumes of newspaper clippings, mostly concerning the Legislative Assembly of Ontario between 1916 and 1919. Four of the six volumes have the name J.J. Preston inside the front cover. One volume has the name J.C. Elliott on it. Elliott was the member for Middlesex West. The newspapers are from "The Globe" and the "Daily Mail and Empire".

New Left MovementThis series consists of scrapbooks and files of newspaper clippings documenting athletics at Trent. Most scrapbooks include newspaper clippings from local newspapers (The Peterborough Examiner, Peterborough This Week, and the Arthur). Scrapbooks and newspaper clippings highlight competitions and sporting events related to Trent Varsity teams and local athletic achievements, and personal achievements by local athletes on an international level such as the Olympics.
