This is an artificial collection of materials with a variety of provenances, documenting the Trent University Faculty Association (TUFA) strike in 1991, including strike bulletins and information sheets, Communications Office Bulletins, communiques from Students FEAT and A.N.S.W.E.R., Trent Student Union communiques, copies of student papers Arthur and Lilith, OCUFA Forum and CAUT Bulletin, TUFA parity buttons, transcripts of TUFA internal meeting, an untranscribed cassette tape of CBC interviews, 14 tapes of radio broadcasts and meetings, and other records. Also included are an oversized poster used on the pickets and a copy of the new three-year collective agreement between TUFA and the Trent University Board of Governors ending the strike.

The fonds also contains documents relating to Mary's death and her bequest of two million dollars to Trent University, various documents relating to Ontario camps and to the Brora Centre, and miscellaneous photographs.

This fonds consists of research in the 19th and 20th century Canadian historical geography, specifically emigration and settlement from British Isles to Upper Canada, the Trent Canal use during WWII, the environmental and cultural consequences of flooding from the Trent Canal dam in the late 19th century, and research on Bon Echo, Algonquin, and Banff National Parks. Research is also included on European migration and land settlement patterns and processes in Cape Province, South Africa in the early 19th century and in Western Australia in the early 20th century. Included in the research materials are several maps, a small collection of photo negatives, and microfilm reels.

Also included are records documenting events and engagement initiatives, including reunion weekends at Head of the Trent, chapter events, talks, dinners, the Alumni letter writing campaign, fundraising campaigns, and award ceremonies. Also included is promotional material from these events; photographs, video, and sound recordings of events and talks; and memorabilia created and collected by alumni. Fonds also includes the planning documents for some of the events with corresponding promotional material. Folders include admission letters and correspondence from Trent university and the University of Toronto, convocation programs (1969, 1970), and Brownlee’s academic records. Also included are production programs for “Gilbert and Sullivan,” “Patience,” and “The Mikado,” along with 13 small black and white photographs of the rehearsal of The Mikado (1970). There are also 3 larger black and white photos of the Champlain College exterior buildings. Additionally included is a booklet related to the Trent Development Fund, titled “An Individual Experience,” which contains several black and white photos of Trent University campus, and additional information.
