Cameron who was commissioned by the Department of the Secretary of State (superseded by the Department of Canadian Heritage) to investigate the status of Canadian Studies in the 1990s. His report, "Taking Stock: Canadian Studies in the Nineties" was published by the Association of Canadian Studies in 1996. Materials include readers' comments on the draft report.

There is a sworn statement by his sister, identifying him, his honorable discharge papers from the U.S. Army, his marriage certificate with Elizabeth Ann Kelly of Peterborough, an invoice for the burial of Eugene P. Eggleton, and the notification of birth registration for their daughter Mary Patricia Eggleton.

This item is a petition of freeholders of Emily Township to John Huston, Surveyor of Highways, paying for alterations in roads, especially along the Emily/Ennismore boundary.

The fonds consists of photocopies of letters to George Campbell, mostly from Alex. and James Campbell from Manitoba, outlining working and living conditions in the aftermath of the Red River Rebellion. The letters contain comments on the ethnic nature of the population, farming prospects, and the election riot of November 1871. The letters were written between October 30, 1870 and October 5, 1874.

These items include a letter, and cover envelope, from H.M. Yuill to Lillian Campbell, written from Rhodesia, enclosing a 20 pound sterling demand note for her, from her brother.
