The fonds consists of minutes of general, executive and special meetings of the Toronto Trades Assembly (February 1871-February 1878) and the Toronto Trades and Labour Council, its successor (July 1881-April 1893), broken down as follows: Volume I contains Toronto Trades Assembly minutes from February 1871 to February 1878, pages 1-359, 400. Volume II contains Toronto Trades and Labour Council minutes from July 1881 to October 1883, pages 1-30, 1-256. Volume III contains Toronto Trades and Labour Council minutes from October 1883 to September 1885, pages 1-258. Volume IV contains Toronto Trades and Labour Council minutes from October 1885 to July 1887; Volume V contains Toronto Trades and Labour Council minutes from August 1887 to April 1893, pages 1-392.

There is also a large photograph album highlighting the 40 years that Tony spent at Trent University. Also included are 12 individual photographs of Storey, including headshots, 1 photo of Storey receiving the Big Brothers and Big Sisters National Commendation Award, and several group photos with unidentified individuals. Additionally, there is professional correspondence related to university matters, alumni associations and events, and the establishment of the Alumni House in Champlain College. There is also personal correspondence between alumni associations, colleagues, and friends, including thank-you cards, e-mails, greeting cards, and event invitations.

An essay on the influences of Professor T.H.B. Symons on the life of Denis Desjardins from his early francophone education in the 1960s to his reading of Tom Symons: A Canadian Life (2011). Denis Desjardins is a Trent University alumnus.

This collection consists of three ledgers of business accounts and one ledger of accounts for School Section No. 5, Mariposa Township, Victoria County. This is especially interesting as it goes from 1856 to 1907 giving teacher salaries and other expenses. Also included are 58 black and white photographs of Nova Scotia circa 1900.
