This fonds consists of three notebooks which belonged to various members of the Nimmo family. The notebook belonging to Robert Davidson Nimmo holds accounts from 1860 to 1865. The notebook belonging to T.J. Nimmo contains recipes for tanning and taxidermy, circa 1893. There is an account book belonging to Mrs. R. Nimmo dating from 1898 to 1906 and a diary of A.R.M. Nimmo from 1908.

There are ten pages of play titles with short critiques and names of publishers. Also included in the fonds are two letters from A. Maclaren giving lists of plays and authors, dated 1922 which are addressed to Vincent Massey.

This fonds consists of two books of poetry by Frederick Montague de la Fosse, "Verses Grave and Gay" and "A Dream and An Allegory" which are signed by the author and given to Helen Anderson from him. Also included in the fonds are some poems, all signed by de la Fosse and letters to Helen Anderson from de la Fosse as well as two photographs of de la Fosse; one as a young man (signed on the back) and one of him as an older man.

There is a sworn statement by his sister, identifying him, his honorable discharge papers from the U.S. Army, his marriage certificate with Elizabeth Ann Kelly of Peterborough, an invoice for the burial of Eugene P. Eggleton, and the notification of birth registration for their daughter Mary Patricia Eggleton.

The fonds consists of photocopies of letters to George Campbell, mostly from Alex. and James Campbell from Manitoba, outlining working and living conditions in the aftermath of the Red River Rebellion. The letters contain comments on the ethnic nature of the population, farming prospects, and the election riot of November 1871. The letters were written between October 30, 1870 and October 5, 1874.

These items include a letter, and cover envelope, from H.M. Yuill to Lillian Campbell, written from Rhodesia, enclosing a 20 pound sterling demand note for her, from her brother.
