Fonds consists of diaries, photographs, correspondence, certificates, play scripts and playbills, research material, speeches, short stories, reviews and critiques, genealogies, newspaper clippings and greeting cards related to the life of Fern Rahmel. Also included is a panoramic photograph entitled Sirmilik Hoodoos Panorama by Dr. Roberta Bondar, framed and presented to Rahmel by Trent University.

Fonds is comprised of biographical information pertaining to Joyce C. Lewis, and research material pertaining to Irish immigrant Frances Stewart and to the nineteenth-century social history of Ontario. Items include correspondence, manuscripts and notes for speeches and articles, notes on various topics, research articles, typescripts and copies of historical letters, copy photographs, and slides. Also included are a number of original historical letters pertaining to the Stewart family and one original photograph of Harriet Beaufort. Unless otherwise noted, the research materials are primarily comprised of reproductions in the form of photocopies. Further Stewart family materials were received in December 2012 and added to Box 6.

Fonds consists of binders, notebooks, and scrapbooks pertaining to the life and career of Gladys G. Stacey. Included are Stacey's manuscripts, published articles, paintings, and sketches. Also included are family genealogical records; photographs; newspaper clippings; copies of family diaries and diary pages; correspondence; articles by Frederick Stacey; financial records; military records of Stacey children; personal family documents (i.e. passport, birth and death certificates, diplomas, etc.). Included as well are publications containing information about the Stacey and Devlin families.

This addition to the fonds consists of correspondence of Frances Stewart and her mother's family (the Wallers). Some letters relate to her upbringing in Ireland. The remaining correspondence concerns her life in Douro Township as one of the first pioneers. Frances describes pioneer life and its attendant hardships, the settlement and development of the Peterborough area and Douro Township and social, family, religious and economic life in early Ontario. Some correspondence concerns the publication of 'Our Forest Home'.

This addition to the fonds consists of receipts, recipes, slides and photographs of Dr. Mary Northway and Flora Morrison. There are also records for the production of Echoes and Reflections of Flora Morrison.

Fonds includes miscellaneous accounts, receipts, camping equipment lists, correspondence, insurance policies pertaining to Windy Pine. Also includes a cassette tape recording re: early days at Windy Pine, and a transcription provided in 2014 by Joan McIlwain via Professor Julia Harrison
