This series consists of film, video, and photographs of varsity and intramural athletic events and games at Trent University, including rugby, volleyball, soccer, rowing, cycling, skiing, Head of the Trent, and athletic banquets. Series consists of various reports and resources used in the Bioregionalism course, which focused on Haliburton County. Included are government reports, environmental assessments, municipal reports and materials, and other material about the County, its residents, and its environment.

This series consists of records maintained by Paul S. B. Wilson throughout his career as Athletic Director at the Trent University Athletics Centre from 1966 to 2002. This series includes textual records, photographs, slides, and reports, as well certificates and awards from his personal athletic achievements and endeavours in local politics as Town Ward. The textual records include his personal athletic achievements in Ontario Squash Competitions and newspaper clippings reflecting varsity and intramural athletics at Trent. There are also many brochures related to the Ontario College Athletic Association (OCAA), squash and rugby manuals, and reports from major sporting events Trent Varsity teams were a part of such as the U19 Women’s World Lacrosse Championships in Australia in 1999. It also includes records related to his time as Town Ward for the City of Peterborough from 1985-1997 such as newspaper clippings, thank you letters, and promotional materials.

Series consists of general administrative files related to operations and management of the International Camping Fellowship and International Camping Congress, providing insight into the overall functioning and administration of the organization. Documents include correspondence such as letters, memos and emails exchanged between members of the ICF. Also included are program proposals, outlines and scheduling details, samples of official letterhead used by the ICF, budget reports and financial documents outlining budget and financial management of the ICF, contact information of individuals and organizations affiliated with the ICF, and documents related to the management and content of the ICF website.

Series consists of material related to the building and planning of Trent University’s Athletics Building, including briefs to the Architect for the Physical Training building and Athletic facility, and correspondence about planning the proposed Athletic facility.

The Development Fund was established in 1969 and ran through 1974 with a goal of raising 5 million dollars. The campaign was supposed to culminate in 1969 but at that time had only raised about 2 million dollars.

This series consists of Julie Johnston’s academic papers written for her English Degree at Trent University. It also includes notes, speeches, correspondence, pamphlets, and photographs related to her Honourary Degree of Letters from Trent as well as her speech presented to the Friends of Bata Library. It also includes correspondence with Professor Michael Treadwell, a former English professor at Trent. All records have been maintained by Julie Johnston.

Series consists of Blue binder of approximately 480 slides received in 2015 via Elaine Goselin and Bill Kimball. Slides pertain to Trent University and are dated ca. 1967-1970s. Some slides are stamped "M.J. O'Brien." Michael O'Brien was operations engineer at Trent from 1967 to 1979. Many of the slides are mechanical/electrical in nature and some portray workers, presumably of Trent, on the job. Also included are aerial images of the Nassau Campus, images of construction sites on the Nassau Campus and at Traill College, fall scenery, convocation ceremony during the Symons/Frost era, and workers either inflating or deflating the athletics "Bubble".

Series consists of materials related to the Alumni Association at Trent University, including correspondence, the Alumni newsletter, meeting minutes and agendas, and letters from the Alumni letter-writing program. Also included are newspaper clippings about Trent University’s first graduation class, correspondence about the 30th reunion class, and the 50th anniversary of Trent.

Series includes prints from David Lasenby titled “North Wing, Otonabee College” (no. 100/350); “Sadlier House, Peter Robinson College” (no. 140/350); “Master’s Lodge, Champlain College” (no. 195/350), the building is now called the Alumni House; “North Wing, Lady Eaton College” (no. 140/350), and “Scott House, Catharine Parr Traill College” (no. 160/350). Series also consists of newspaper issues and clippings from the Peterborough Examiner, Globe & Mail, Trent Trends, The Telegram, and After Four newspaper clippings to do with Trent University. Also includes one flyer announcing the reopening of Sadlier House (2004).

This series consists of scrapbooks and files of newspaper clippings documenting athletics at Trent. Most scrapbooks include newspaper clippings from local newspapers (The Peterborough Examiner, Peterborough This Week, and the Arthur). Scrapbooks and newspaper clippings highlight competitions and sporting events related to Trent Varsity teams and local athletic achievements, and personal achievements by local athletes on an international level such as the Olympics.

Series consists of records related to Trent University student governance, including the Canadian Union of Students (CUS), a union of 40 student councils across Canada. Material includes correspondence, meeting minutes, Robert’s personal notes, and a mission statement. Also included are key student governance reports, titled “External Affairs: background paper for discussion at the first Trent seminar on ‘student affairs.’” Also included is correspondence with Canadian Premier Life and the World University Service of Canada. Additionally, Peter Robinson College Committee and College Cabinet meeting minutes, Traill College meeting minutes, and correspondence regarding the trademark of Trent University colours and symbols.

Series consists of Trent University course materials, including materials from Trent University’s Introductory Seminar such as program schedules, event organizing correspondence, and general correspondence. Additionally included are course lecture and seminar notes, and course Syllabi and information for Economics, English, Math, Physics and Psychology.

This series consists of documents written on the growth and development of the Athletics Centre from 1964-2014, including reports, newspaper clippings, and correspondence. The Athletics Department has gone through many periods of transformation. From shared facilities in downtown Peterborough, to a temporary Air Hall, to having a permanent home on the Nassau campus. There was a great need for a designated facility at the Nassau Campus. Budgets initially allowed for a temporary ‘air hall’ to be set up to relieve the need for renting shared facilities in downtown Peterborough. Eventually, a new building was developed on the west bank of the Nassau campus and became the permanent location for the Athletics Centre. This is reflected in the architectural briefs, drawings, research and publications of the development of the Athletics Centre building and services offered.

Series consists of records related to Trent University development, including the final report on Trent University’s founding fund, documents related to the Trent University development fund, a report to the Board of Governors at Trent University on the establishment of a development program, and correspondence and information records regarding the Trent University Foundation.
