This collection consists of miscellaneous maps of Upper Canada, Canada West and Ontario. The maps consist mostly of the Peterborough area and include Sir Sandford Fleming's 1846 map of Peterborough. This collection includes several Bird's Eye Views of the City of Peterborough (i.e. copies and variations)

File includes a list of property of Zaccheus Burnham (1952); a letter from Harold G.E. Choate to R.F. Choate (1948); 2 copies of a note to Editor about release of Kinsey's "Sexual Behavior in Human Females"; a museum Bulletin No. 23, No. 31 and accompanying letter; 1 copy of "A Free and Responsible Press"; a general report on mass communication by commission on Freedom of the Press; pamphlet "The United Empire Loyalists Association; 1 copy of Contributions of the Royal Ontario Museum of Zoology No. 7 "The Passenger Pigeon in Ontario."

This collection consists of two legal documents. One is written on parchment, dated 6 May 1647 and written in German. The second document is dated 11 December 1806 and appoints 16 men as Justices of the Peace for the District of Newcastle. It is signed by Francis Gore, Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada at York.

This fonds consists of ledgers, day books and other record books, mostly unidentified as to exact name and location of the business. All were situated in the Peterborough/Cobourg/Norwood/Marmora area.
