This collection consists of 3 maps: a photocopy of a map portraying a portion of Northumberland County, showing Hope and Emily Townships on the west and Murray and Methuen Townships on the east, 1830s; a photocopy of a map portraying a portion of Peterborough County, showing North Monaghan Township to Belmont Township on the south and Harvey to Methuen Townships on the north, 1897; and an original map of Peterborough County, 1897.
File consists of Prof. John Wadland’s subject file on Peterborough and its district. This file is comprised of newspaper clippings with topics that include Kawartha’s landscape change, weed problems in rice lake, zebra mussels and their impacts, tourism, and infrastructure problems such as the parkway.

Items consist of accounts issued largely to the Westwood, Ontario Brackenridge family. The accounts were issued by businesses and institutions in Peterborough, Westwood, Hastings, Bridgenorth and Toronto.
File consists of Prof. John Wadland’s subject file on Peterborough. This file contains photocopied photographs and newspaper clippings. Topics in this file include photographs of old buildings in Peterborough, Regatta on Stoney Lake, reviews on the industries within Peterborough, and arts and theatre within Peterborough.
The item is a microfilm of a copy book of correspondence from and to Peter Russell, president administering the government of Upper Canada during the period November 1796 to March 1798. The correspondents include Captain William Claus, Superintendent of Indians and Indian Affairs, and Captain Joseph Brant. Included are copies of speeches made by Russell to "Brothers, Chiefs and Warriors of the Six Nations" concerning their land grants on the Grand River, as well as speeches to "Brothers, Chiefs and Warriors of the Chippewa Nation".
