This fonds consists of approximately 843 original cartoons by A.G. Racey covering a wide range of subjects. Due to the universal nature of his cartoons, Racey gained international recognition and his works were reproduced in numerous newspapers and magazines around the world. A file list and descriptions of the cartoons, including dates where known, is available below.

Much of the fonds relates to Bowley’s interest and experience in the Women’s Royal Canadian Naval Service and her participation in the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Peterborough Club. Also included are dozens of Barclay family ancestral letters.

His papers contain a form letter from the Canadian Pacific Railway dated April 3, 1900; a letter dated October 10 from S.A. Cunningham threatening to withdraw his support for Graham in the next election and a cancelled cheque from Graham and Dougall McQuaig to E.H. Henry dated October 10, 1899.

Steamships for the Lakefield and Young's Point RunCollection is comprised of approximately 7500 postcards (including some duplicates) pertaining primarily to the former Victoria County (now City of Kawartha Lakes). Dating from about 1900 to 1960, this collection was created by Norbert Erasmus Hyacinth Krommer of Lindsay, Ontario. A few postcards portray photographs of unidentified people, while others include handwritten messages on the reverse along with postal stamps and markings.

One additional photograph added in 2007 is an 8" x 10" photograph of a logging crew which included George Noyes in the back row, looking away from the camera.

Smith, Tremont House, Toronto, and discusses Smith's inspection of cases of corn.

Ontario Camps AssociationCollection consists of greeting cards, humorous postcards, and postcards portraying places in Canada, U.S.A., and the U.K. Some of the humorous postcards depict social concerns of the time, such as the women's suffragette movement and WWI. Several of the cards were posted to people in Yorkshire, England and in Markham and Milliken, Ontario.

Included are: 1) minutes of regular meetings from July 7, 1908 to December 31, 1933; and 2) Minutes from January 11, 1949 to January 30, 1950, May 8, 1966 to February 20, 1967, January 20, 1969, and January 11, 1972. Lodge No. 3 was redesignated Loyal Orange Lodge 76 in 1950 which was comprised of members from Lodges No. 80, No. 50 and No. 1175. The lodge closed in 1972.
