Fonds consists of records from the Trent University Athletic Centre, documenting the department's development, its facilities and program offerings, and varsity and intramural sports. Fonds includes records from Paul S.B. Wilson throughout his time as Director (1966-2002). Fonds also consists of records about the growth and development of the Athletics Department including architectural briefs, reports, correspondence, promotional materials, photographs, and slides. There are also many photographs, scrapbooks, and CD’s containing records about intramural, varsity, and community sports. The sports documented include synchronized swimming, rowing, volleyball, basketball, swimming, hockey, squash, soccer, rugby, curling, field hockey, fencing, cycling, and karate. Also included are Michael Treadwell's correspondence and brochures of various racing sailboats, and material gathered from other universities' athletics programs.

Fonds consists of material relating to the research and initiatives the Trent-Fleming Trail Studies Unit engaged in. Files include correspondence, reports, research material, pamphlets, brochures, conference materials, and other materials. Photographs document the Northumberland Forest trails. CD-ROMS documents project reports. VHS tape documents the television coverage of the Rails to Greenways Conference (1993). Fonds is comprised of research and manuscript material pertaining to the sports career of William Lloyd (Moon) Wootton. Materials include correspondence, manuscripts, interview tapes with Moon and with local sports personalities, floppy discs, photographs and newspaper clippings. Also included is a copy of Donna Wootton’s book on her father, Moon Remembered: The Life of Lacrosse Goalie Lloyd “Moon” Wootton (The Ginger Press, 2009).

Fonds consists of photocopies of 90 letters written by Mary Williamson home to her parents from summer camp between 1940 and 1951. The camps attended were Camp Cedarnook and Camp Tanamakoon. Also included are camp badges; one group photograph taken at Camp Cedarnook ca.1943; and ca.160

Materials added in 2020: 8 photographs pertaining to Camp Woapak, 1940s. Mary Williamson's brother, J. Peter Williamson, and their mother, Marie Williamson, are identified in a few of the photographs. Further information about the family is available in Just a Larger Family (Waterloo: Wilfrid Laurier U.P., 2011); this book is comprised of the wartime letters of Marie Williamson and was edited by Mary F. Williamson.

Fonds consists of a complete set of the Wilderness Canoe Association periodical. The periodical was first named Beaverdamn (1974), then The Wilderness Canoeist (1975-1981), followed by Nastawgan (1982-current). Also included are miscellaneous records related to the Wilderness Canoe Association, i.e., membership list 1989, brochures, letterhead, by-laws, minutes of one meeting (2002), and 33 photo contact prints.

This fonds consists of thesis research material relating to the role and image of wilderness and the aborigine in Ontario camps. It also contains various interviews with directors of Ontario camps, as well as information booklets and camp applications.

Also included is correspondence and reports relating to Parks Canada and Environment Canada, and NPPAC/CPAW's position papers, proposals, and newsletters. This fonds consists of Camp Wanapitei promotional material, correspondence, material relating to camp operations including staff contracts and staff lists, campers lists, policies, shares, and background notes and itinerary for canoe trips.

This fonds consists primarily of research materials relevant to Larry Turner's books and activities. The fonds also contains personal correspondence, as well as research and work- related correspondence. Approximately 627 photographs, mostly of random locations in Ontario, are included in this fonds. Fonds includes 9 diaries written by Turner between 1977 and 1985.

This addition to the fonds consists of correspondence from Mary Northway to Mally Gibson, and between Mary Northway and Margaret Van Every. There are also papers and booklets written by Mary Northway as well as miscellaneous newspaper clippings and photographs.

This fonds consists of correspondence, documents, and manuscripts. Included are personal letters, articles, essays, journals and daily planning books, research notes, drafts of books and plays in manuscript form (including an unpublished first novel), royalty statements, photographs and documentation on the novelizations of the films "Corvette Summer," "Dragonslayer," "Batteries Not Included," and "Willow". Also included are materials regarding the film, "Places Out of Time."

This collection consists of a Glen Bernard Camp songbook, a large portrait of "Chief" Taylor Statten, press clippings from Canadian Camping, a Camp Ahmek certificate dated 1923, 70 photographs, and 3 postcards. Also included are the following artifacts: a Glen Bernard trophy engraved for Janet Gibson, 1923, Camp Ahmek counsellor's medal, 1924, a leather Camp Ahmek "Third" badge, 1923, and a plaque inscribed "2nd Stollery and Van Every", undated.

This fonds consists of Young Women's Christian Association scrapbooks from 1976-1993, and a photograph of the YWCA swim club "The Silver Finnettes" from the 1930's. Also included are several identified and unidentified photographs of YWCA staff and volunteers, and of buildings. There are also slides of the staff, and miscellaneous slides.

This addition to the fonds consists of correspondence, interview tapes and drafts of manuscripts written by Scott Young such as Powerplay: The Memoirs of Hockey Czar Alan Eagleson and The Boys of Saturday Night. The fonds also includes interview tapes of Don Cherry, Ron Harrison, Bill Hewitt, and other hockey coaches, players and team owners. There is also an autographed copy of War on Ice; personal correspondence and greeting cards. We have copied out Scott's famous spaghetti sauce recipe (see note below).

This fonds consists of newspaper clippings, notes, etc. regarding a canoeing accident at Balsam Lake Camp in 1926, as well as correspondence, articles, etc. on Balsam Lake. This fonds also contains two photos, one of Rev. Delaney, and one of the northwest shore of Balsam Lake.
