Iqaluit (Frobisher Bay)
  • Frobisher Bay (now called Iqaluit) is named after explorer Martin Frobisher who sailed into Frobisher Bay in search of the northwest passage. Iqaluit is Inuktitut for "place of many fish."

  • Part of Traill College, Kerr House was named in 1971. The name was suggested by Nancy Sherouse as suitable to honour Kerr family. People were already calling 299 Dublin St. by that name.

Lady Eaton College
