This addition to the fonds consists of photocopies of correspondence of Anya Seton; a play called the "Rufus letters" 1890; a manuscript of a play; and an unpublished autobiography. The fonds also contains original manuscript and typescript articles by Elise Thompson including an interview, biographical notes and photocopies of articles on Seton. There are also photocopies of letters and documents pertaining to Seton's relationship with Grace Seton. As well in 1992 an inventory list was added of all Seton paintings in Philmot Ranch, Cimarron, New Mexico, including an inventory of Seton paintings in the Smithsonian as well as correspondence regarding a Seton painting.

This item is a C.E. Goad fire insurance plan of the village of Pickering, Ontario as at December 1891. It includes a key plan (scale (500':01") and a key to symbols.

INSCRIBED at head of front cover "With comps. of D Boyle." Covers chipped and dust soiled, apart from minor stains contents on whole very good. Includes contributions by G.E. Laidlaw and A.F. Chamberlain. Boyle, 1842-1911, self-taught archaeologist and ethnologist became an authority on the archaeology of Ontario , and was appointed curator of the museums of the Canadian Institute and the Ontario Dept. of Education.

This fonds consists of the constitution and by-Laws of the Otonabee Lodge No. 13, revised as of 15 June 1891, as well as the constitution, by-laws and rules of order of Durham Lodge No. 78 of the Independent Order of Oddfellows.

This fonds consists of a blacksmith's account book belonging to John Tinney of Cavan, Ontario and a small pocket diary kept by a soldier, Hector Tinney who served overseas in World War I. Also included in the fonds are a number of post cards of Belleville, Ontario, Trenton in Ontario as well as a photograph of Hector Tinney and the Tinney blacksmith shop.

This fonds consists of four minute books of Loyal Orange Lodge No. 321, Otonabee Township from 1891 to 1937. They include minutes of regular meetings, special meetings, and meetings of the Royal Blue and Arch Purple Degrees. Also included are membership rolls and rolls of officers.

Northway and the business and corporate records of the companies founded by John Northway and Son Limited, the Northway Company Limited, and their various subsidiaries throughout Ontario. They include pension fund operations, ledgers, financial statements, investment registers etc. No records exist which show the manufacturing operations of John Northway and Son Limited.

This fonds consists primarily of business records of Flavelles Limited. It includes the charter, by-laws and minutes, ledgers, account books, audited statements, stock books and journals. There are also brief historical accounts of the family and the enterprises.

Covers lightly soiled, piece missing from upper outer corner affecting the word "District" in title, a few short closed tears to bottom edge, else very good, clean copy. Includes the 1885 Act forming the District of Rainy River, the 1890 Free Grant and Homestead Act, Forms and Affidavits referred to in the Acts, and the Act to Preserve the Forests from Destruction by Fire.
