Fonds consists of material relating to the administration and programming of the INSTRUCT Programme. Files includes reports, journal articles, event flyers, pamphlets, correspondence, newsletters, budget reports, research material, and other documentation detailing the Programme in both English and Spanish. Photographs and slides include images of meetings, travel, seminars and work done with local communities in Ecuador and Mexico and at Trent University. VHS tapes includes a recording of the “Questioning” Conference panel, the conservation of the Imbkucha and Lago san Pablo watershed, and on the festival of Inti Raymi. CD-ROMs include photos of an INSTRUCT workshop on women and environment and another on local traditions.

File consists of issues of the Peterborough New Paper, a weekly independent newspaper edited by Clifford Maynes. Publishing was by a co-operative of volunteers with the help of “Opportunities for Youth” grants. This paper reported on Municipal affairs of Peterborough and the matters before the City council. The excellence of the reportage led us to create a list of some of the most important articles.

Collection consists of photocopies and scans of copy photographs relating primarily to Curve Lake, Ontario. Subjects include people, scenery, and buildings. Information on some of the images indicates that the originals date ca. 1890 to ca. 1978.

Atlas includes maps showing lots and concessions, with owners, for the Townships of Pickering, Whitby, Uxbridge, Reach and Scugog, Scott, Brock, Horah, Mara, and Rama, and towns of Whitby and Oshawa.

This fonds consists of the records and personal papers collected by Professor Thomas H.B. Symons as Chairman of the Ontario Human Rights Commission from 1975-1978. The fonds includes: minutes, reports, publications, press clippings, and requests for exemptions for the Ontario Human Rights Commission; information on hate literature, racism, language rights, native rights, pension rights, the physically handicapped, police relations, public education, race relations, religion, sexual orientation, women's rights, and sex discrimination; and information on provincial Human Rights Commissions and International Human Rights Commissions.

This fonds consists of approximately 843 original cartoons by A.G. Racey covering a wide range of subjects. Due to the universal nature of his cartoons, Racey gained international recognition and his works were reproduced in numerous newspapers and magazines around the world. A file list and descriptions of the cartoons, including dates where known, is available below.

Fonds consists of Professor Donald B. Smith's research material pertaining to the eighteenth and nineteenth century history of the Ojibwe of southern Ontario. The research materials consist primarily of photocopies of published articles, bibliographical references, and handwritten notes; included is material related to the Mississauga (Ojibwe) of the Trent River Valley. Interspersed within the files is correspondence with other academics and authors.

This fonds consists of three scrapbooks of assorted clippings covering topics such as: handicrafts, holidays, recipes, entertainment, poetry and songs. It also includes attendance records, trustee meetings, teachers’ contacts, religious instruction, authorized textbooks and other education related records for School Section No. 10, Brock Township, Ontario. Lastly, there are three atlases in this collection. Two of them are of the county of Ontario and the third one is a geographical, astronomical, historical home atlas.

This fonds consists of records of a Jewish Boy Scout Camp called Camp Tamarack. The fonds has minutes of the Tamarack Association, correspondence, form letters, bulletins, photographs, financial statements, inventories, accounts, reports, camp programmes, menus, brochures, insurance policies, construction proposals, Public Health Department licenses and reports, minutes of the Camp Services Co-operative and other information regarding school camping and the Boy Scouts of Canada.

Fonds consists of a complete set of the Wilderness Canoe Association periodical. The periodical was first named Beaverdamn (1974), then The Wilderness Canoeist (1975-1981), followed by Nastawgan (1982-current). Also included are miscellaneous records related to the Wilderness Canoe Association, i.e., membership list 1989, brochures, letterhead, by-laws, minutes of one meeting (2002), and 33 photo contact prints.

Collection consists of various reports, newsletters, publications, and other resources that were kept in the Native Studies Reading Room of the Bata Library before its renovation.

Fonds consists of diaries and enclosed documents of Mark Robinson, Ranger and Superintendent of Algonquin Park from 1907-1936.
