Fonds consists mostly of correspondence (both handwritten and typed) between Mary Northway and Professors John Wadland and Alan Wilson. This correspondence relates primarily to the Brora Centre, the Neathern Trust, Canadian Studies, Trent University, and Windy Pine's history and transfer to Trent. Correspondence also mentions Dorothy Millichamp and Margot Thompson.

Fonds also includes a copy of A. Wilson's nomination of Mary Northway for an honorary degree, her CV, and a list of her publications. There are also 2 photographs of Mary Northway, Helen James, Adele Ebbs and Dorothy (Dore) Millichamp, a poem about Mary Northway by Betsy Struthers, a published copy of Child Student in Canada: A Casual History by Mary Northway, and a Toronto Star obituary of Mary Northway.

Also included is an 8 mm film of Windy Pine (3 minutes, silent, colour), featuring Flora Morrison and her dog Charlie at Driftwood cabin, Windy Pine in the 1970s (also copied on DVD).
