The photographs mostly come up the river, starting at the south end near the Peterborough Rowing Club House and Stanley Adamson Powerhouse, and then moving north towards the campus location. Early versions of Champlain College, Lady Eaton College, Bata Library, and Science Complex can be seen, as well as an unfinished version of Faryon Bridge.
