Fonds consists of scrapbooks, archaeological photographs, and research papers generated primarily by Gilbert Bagnani. The fonds also includes earlier World War I military photographs generated by Ugo Bagnani. Some of the photographs show Mrs. Bagnani in court dress. Also included are Stewart Bagnani bridal photographs.
Bagnani, Gilbert and StewartThe fonds consists of the correspondence and manuscripts of the Peterborough author and teacher, Francis J.A. Morris, primarily relating to his interests in botany, entomology, and classical and modern literature. The papers include both prose and poetry selections, some of which are unpublished. Morris wrote for diverse journals, among them the Canadian Forum, and the Canadian Entomologist. Also among the papers are published copies of some of his works, and copies of the works of other authors, mainly in the field of natural science and botany or entomology. There are photographs included, some of which are reproduced here.
Morris, Francis J.A.Fonds consists of travel brochures, postcards, correspondence, publications, photographs, and journals that document the Marnie McCulloch’s travel throughout Canada and Greenland. She visited Australia, British Columbia, Northern Manitoba, Hudson’s Bay, Greenland, the Northwest Territories, and Yellowknife . Fonds includes brochures, travel journals, newspaper clippings, postcards, and pamphlets about Inuit, Aboriginal Australian, and Haida art, which she collected in her travels.
Fonds also include essays written by Marnie McCulloch on the topics of her travels, Northern Canada, Northwest Coast First Nations, and other topics.
McCulloch, M. Margaret (Marnie)Fonds consists of personal records of Thomas H.B. Symons relating to his career and to his family. Included are records of his wife, Christine Symons, his children, Mary, Jeffrey, and Ryerson Symons, his father, Harry Lutz Symons, including his father's manuscript for "Three Ships West", and his mother, Dorothy Sarah (Bull) Symons. Also included are materials relating to Professor Symons' activities on various boards and committees, addresses, articles, manuscripts, typescripts, and correspondence, documents and notes concerning Trent University, Association of Commonwealth Universities, Celanese Canada, Science Council of Canada, Department of External Affairs, Royal Society of the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, etc.. Also included are photographs of Thomas H.B. Symons, Christine Symons, and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales.
Symons, Thomas H.B.Fonds consists of records documenting Dale Standen’s activities as a postsecondary student and professor. Files include personal and professional correspondence, lecture notes, and teaching background material with focus on Canadian history post contact, the fur trade, and New France. Fonds is arranged into three series: Correspondence and Trent University activities; Lectures notes for classes at Trent University and Vancouver City College; and Postsecondary coursework and essays.
Standen, DaleSeries consists of academic and personal correspondence between Dale Standen and his colleagues at various academic institutions, Trent faculty, staff, students, and alumni, and graduate school colleagues. Series also includes obituaries and funeral programs for Trent faculty. Additional files document Dale Standen’s activities as a Don of and later the Principal of Lady Eaton College, and as a TUFA (Trent University Faculty Association) member during the 1996 strike. Series also includes correspondence from the Dictionary of Canadian Biography and the Champlain Society.

Series consists of Doug Sadler's correspondence, largely relating to writing and publishing activities.
Series consists of records documenting Sadler's involvement in various naturalist and environmental initiatives with businesses, government bodies, and other organizations. Records document The Outdoorsman Magazine, Campbell Productions documentary films, the Design Canada Education Seminar and Workshop Program, the Ontario Department of Lands and Forests, the Provincial Wayside (Roadside) Conference (sponsored by the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority (ORCA) and The Federation of Ontario Naturalists) in Peterborough in 1965. Series also includes significant documentation on the Peterborough City/County Waste Management Study. Sadler was the chairman of the Public Liaison Committee that assisted with communication between the public and the Waste Management Steering Committee.
Series consists of records relating to Doug Sadler's writing and publishing activities, including research materials, manuscripts, articles, and reviews.
File includes correspondence with newspapers, newsletters, and others regarding the writing of articles. Some correspondence relates to Sadler's position in the Display Advertising Department, Peterborough Examiner, etc.. File also includes some article manuscripts and photos of Sadler accepting the Kortright award sponsored by the Outdoor Writers of Canada, 1965.
File consists of records documenting the Buckhorn Wilderness Centre (BWC) which was established in 1965, with Sadler as the founding president. The Otonabee Region Conservation Authority (ORCA) eventually became involved in operating, and later, in selling the Centre.
File includes 9 black and white photographs and 2 negatives of archaeological sites taken by Verschoyle Blake during a trip in Greece with Gilbert Bagnani and his mother in the Spring of 1923. Also included is a letter from Constance Marani to her friend Hester Thom dated 1 March 1926. Also, two typed pages of notes compiled by the donor and titled “Letter, March 1 1926 from (Ethel) Constance Marani née Blake, 1896-1979” with a genealogical focus, and “Verschoyle Benson Blake 1899-1971”, also with a genealogical focus. Verschoyle Blake helped the Bagnanis, Gilbert and Stewart, whose papers are located in Trent University Archives, with the architectural design of a library in their Port Hope, Ontario house, Vogrie.
File consists of drawings done of Trent University's campuses. There are drawings of Peter Robinson College, as well as drawings of different buildings on the Symons Campus. A drawing of Faryon Bridge with Champlain College in the background is also included. Some drawings are aerials of the whole Symons Campus.
