Box 1 is comprised of materials relating to Volume 42.2 (Spring 2008); Volume 42.3 (Fall 2008); and Volume 43.1 (Winter 2009). Box 2 is comprised of materials relating to Volume 43.2 (Spring 2009); Volume 43.3 (Fall 2009); and Volume 44.1 (Winter 2010). This fonds consists of minutes and correspondence of the Trent-Kanawa's Canoe Museum Committee concerning the feasibility study for the canoe museum.

Fonds consists of two letters and 5 watercolour paintings. One letter is from Susanna Moodie to Mrs. Katie Vickery, Susanna Moodie's daughter, which is undated. The second letter is from Moodie's her publisher in England congratulating her upon the success of Roughing it in the Bush and enclosing a contract for a subsequent book entitled _Mark Huddleston. The watercolour paintings are by Susanna Moodie and all depict flowers.

This collection consists of the following documents: a deed from Gilbert Bogart and Cornelius Van Horn to Gilbert A. Clapp, Adolphustown Township, 1827; deed from Azel Hawkins to John Brown, Hope, 1830; deed from Luke Bedford to John Brown, Hope, 1830; deed from John Megrath to John Donaldson, Otonabee, 1836; deed from Joseph Clarke to John Brown, Hope, 1838; deed from John Potter to Philip Potter, Darlington, 1840; deed from John Kennedy to James Crofts Kennedy, Port Hope, 1864; conditions of sale document re Alexander Lackie, Millbrook, with poster attached, 1887. The John Brown mentioned in three of the documents was an important merchant in Port Hope and a member of the Assembly of Upper Canada.

Fonds consists of 28 volumes of land registry books: abstract indexes to deeds and instruments of deed, mortgage and acquital. Some account books relating to land in Durham County (East Riding). The Registry Office was located in Port Hope. One of the land books relates to Manvers Township.

This fonds consists of 16 bound journals, day books and cash books pertaining to William Langford, a Peterborough builder. Also included is one folder of loose receipts and price estimates.

This addition to the fonds consists of galley proofs and research notes collected prior to publication of Kawartha Heritage, 1981. The fonds also contains correspondence about the Kawartha Heritage Festival held the same year.

The collection consists of photocopies, originals and typescripts, brought together by Howard Pammett, of newspaper articles and unpublished articles on a variety of subjects such as Mossom Boyd, lumbering in the Kawarthas, Katherine Wallis, Peterborough Canoe Company, Trent Valley Navigation Company, and steamboats on the Trent-Severn system. The newspaper articles are from the "Progress of Peterborough" series by Pammett (Peterborough Examiner, 1950-51). The unpublished articles are "A Survey of Kawartha Lumbering 1815-1965" by Pammett and "The Peterborough Canoe" by Donald Cameron. There is also correspondence of Katherine Wallis, Mossom Boyd, and the Trent Valley Navigation Company.

This fonds consists of correspondence, poetry, diaries and newspaper clippings relating to Edward Partridge. The letters include one commenting on the death of his son in France during World War I. Also included are his writings on vegetarianism and the Masonic order.

The fonds consists of the diaries of Harriet Pengelley (1835-1836), Robert Pengelley (1835), and A.E. Marguerite (Rita) Pengelley (1940-1941); correspondence; sketchbooks (1829-1830); drawings; and photographs. In 1994, an addition was made to the fonds which included a photocopy of a diary of Robert Pengelley (1837-1840) and textual records regarding the Pengelley family. In 2018, an addition of Pengelley family genealogical information was received.

This fonds consists of correspondence, memoranda and scrapbooks of Harry Robbins, public relations officer with the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party from 1939 to 1961. The fonds includes both office and personal records and correspondence relating to the electoral and other fortunes of the party in Ontario, Canada and some of the other provinces. The fonds also include a scrapbook of campaign posters and other materials, party election handbooks and election forecasts.

This fonds consists of diaries written by W.J. Standen concerning life on his farm near Barrie, Ontario. The fonds also contains a photocopy of the Standen family history, a portrait of Standen and a portrait of Standen with his family.

Volume IV contains Toronto Trades and Labour Council minutes from October 1885 to July 1887; Volume V contains Toronto Trades and Labour Council minutes from August 1887 to April 1893, pages 1-392.

The fonds consists of photocopies of original field notes of surveys of Samuel Wilmot and Richard Birdsall 1818-1830, certified as true copy by Crown Lands Dept. on June 30, 1857.

Fonds consists of Professor Donald B. Smith's research material pertaining to the eighteenth and nineteenth century history of the Ojibwe of southern Ontario. The research materials consist primarily of photocopies of published articles, bibliographical references, and handwritten notes; included is material related to the Mississauga (Ojibwe) of the Trent River Valley. Interspersed within the files is correspondence with other academics and authors.
