We-Peterborough: World Emergency Centre for Assertive Non-ViolenceThis fonds consists of a published copy of Iroquois Fires: The Six Nations Lyrics and Lore of Dawendine by Bernice Loft Winslow; a video tape of an interview of Dawendine by Donald Smith in 1993; an audio cassette of Dawendine talking, recorded in 1972; three reel to reel tapes donated [to Dr. Smith] by Helen Rothwell; and two cassette tapes, the first of which includes an interview of Dawendine by Betty Kennedy in 1963 and an introduction by Jane Coventry at the Ontario Camping Association, and the second of which is of Dawendine telling stories at Camp Waseosa. One additional file of correspondence and short story manuscripts, a box of 19 slides, and one cassette tape were added at a later date.

Peterborough Women's CommitteeThis addition to the fonds represents a compendium of Stewart materials. It consists of 5 volumes of transcriptions of letters, journals and other papers of Frances Stewart of Douro Township, Upper Canada, and other family members. These 5 volumes transcribe materials of varying provenance and location and were made by Jean Shearman and her sisters. Interfiled within the volumes is the Stewart-Dunlop fonds (94-007) which is comprised of photocopies of correspondence and a family tree; the correspondence is interfiled where it would naturally occur chronologically and the family tree is located at the beginning of Vol. 1. Note: In 2013, the original letters were received for many of the 94-007 items; the originals are processed as 13-008.

Canadian Federation University Women's Club of PeterboroughThis accession consists of three letters, one dated January 27, 1981, one April 6, 1982, written by Margaret Laurence to Mary E. Hamilton, a college acquaintance, and one dated September 8, 1986. In the first, which is a photocopy, Laurence expresses her delight in the book "And Some Brought Flowers...", a copy of which Hamilton must have sent to her. She praises the illustrations and the text and suggests that her delight be passed on to Mary Alice Downie and E.J. Revell, co-authors of the book. In the second letter, which is an original, Laurence graciously acknowledges Hamilton's use of a quote in publicizing the "Flower" book. She also comments on the possibility of being nominated for the Nobel prize, asserting that her body of work is much too slim. An additional letter from Laurence dated September 1986 and addressed to Elizabeth Ritchie was forwarded to Trent University Archives in 1999 by the Canadian High Commission in London, England. The letter had been found inside a book and concerns Laurence's prognosis of cancer and her desire to complete her memoirs.

Additional records were added in 1991 and 1992 which include CFUW Journals, tributes to Mrs. Vera Hickey and Miss Mildred Bailey; minutes of meetings including the Annual General Meeting; tributes to Miss Helen McGregor and Miss Katherine Macdougall; the constitution of the club and the "Long Range Plan" of June, 1990.
