File consists of one scrapbook created by Gordon S. Berry in 1976. The original photographs were taken c. 1918-1928 primarily by Edward A. Eames, with a few by Frank Morris and Charles Mcnamara. They were used in the publication of the book “Our Wild Orchids – Trails and Portraits” (Morris and Eames, New York: Scribner and Sons, 1929). The volume is dedicated to Morris. The sequence of the photographs follows the listing in "Our Wild Orchids."

File consists of an address to the Orangemen of Cavan and Perth, by James Fitzgibbon (York, ON), regarding an upcoming Orangemen parade that Fitzgibbon says is unnecessary and will only stoke anger amongst the Catholic residents.
Fitzgibbon, JamesTreasurer's book listing receipts, expenditures, statements of exchange, ticket sales, concert statements, recapitulation statements, and annual statements for the Peterborough Male Voice Choir between 1920 and 1939. Most statements are written directly into the book, while some are typed and glued in or inserted. Statements for concerts indicate performances at Port Hope, Coburg, Peterborough, Lakefield, and Fenelon Falls, as well as a broadcasted concert that was held on May 19, 1926. Also included are statements relating to the Ontario Music Festival Fund. Some additional items are inserted inside the front cover of the book, such as a copy of a paid loan from the Canadian Bank of Commerce from 1929 and the on-board menu for a May 26, 1929 dinner on the return trip of the choir from New York via the Lehigh Valley Railroad.
Peterborough Male Voice ChoirFile consists of a self-published book of photographs called "Right to Belong" that documents a gathering at Trent University from February 28 - March 2, 2019. As the first page states, "In 1970, Jeannette Corbiere Lavell and David Lavell began a challenge against the Canadian Government in a landmark case that would eventually reach the Supreme Court. The fight to end gender discrimination in the Indian Act would ultimately last decades and involve many Indigenous leaders, supporters and allies. An historic gathering, hosted at Trent University (Nogojiwanong/Peterborough, Ontario), brought together key leaders and their allies to tell their stories of this struggle. The Right to Belong research gathering and the Right to Belong Indigenous Women's Symposium were held on February 28th, March 1, and March 2, 2019. This collection of photographs was created to remember these events.

File consists of a program for "Two Evenings of Opera Excerpts" by The Opera School of the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto. Stewart Bagnani was a costume designer and wardrobe supervisor for the organization in the late 1940s. Also included in the file is a letter from Elizabeth Bacque providing context for the donation.
File contains a binder assembled by Alf Grigg relating to his time at Camp Norval as Camp Director. Within the binder are photographs of plaques dedicated to Camp Norval, taken in 2023, exterior shots of the camp, campers participating in camp activities, taken in 1975. Also contained are information newsletters about the camp, reviews from news outlets, information for staff and a letter from Griggs relating to his personal thoughts about his time at Camp Norval.
File contains a binder assembled by Alf Grigg relating to his time at Bark Lake Leadership Camp, first as a Leader-in-Training in 1964 and then as a Resource Counselor from 1984-1995. The first half of the binder contains staff directories, messages from camp staff and campers about their time at Bark Lake Leadership Camp, camp rules and regulations, schedules, songs and sayings, and maps of Bark Lake, all circa 1964. The second half contains similar contents relating to Grigg's time as a Resource Counselor from 1984-1995 along with photographs of exterior shots of camp buildings and Bark Lake, taken in 1981 and 2010.
File contains a scrapbook assembled by Helen (Miki) Spring, dedicated to Adele "Couchie" Ebbs (nee Statten), upon her becoming an Honourary Life Associate of the Ontario Camping Association. Within the scrapbook are conversations with Ebbs about her time at Camp Wapomeo and Camp Ahmek as a camper and camp counsellor, thank you letters from former campers and friends of Ebbs, a timeline of Ebbs achievements related to the camp and statistical information about the annual resources and supplies that are needed to run the camp. Also contained are family photographs of Ebbs and her husband Harry circa 1940, exterior and interior shots of the camp buildings and cabins throughout Ebbs time with the camps, camper activities such as playing games, sailing and canoeing, and illustrated, coloured maps of Camp Wapomeo and Camp Ahmek.
Item is a modern reproduction of a photograph of Bill Batten leading a parade in front of Hendren’s Funeral Home in Lakefield to deliver Massey equipment. Photograph is accompanied by a note that reads “Bill Batten was the Massey Harris agent for the county of Peterborough.....his nickname was ‘Massey....’”. Also in file, a letter from the Newcastle Village and District Historical Society and a handwritten explanation of Bill Massey Batten.
Presented to Pearl [McIntosh] by Gordon [McIntosh] (1892-1973), Christmas 1954. This Bible includes handwritten genealogical information with references to Peterborough and the names McIntosh, Larmer, Petrie, Seymour and Irvine. Loosely enclosed is a note: "Bible in the Memoirs of Lawrence Larmer wife: & Hazel McIntosh, Millbrook, Ontario"; also an 'In Memoriam' card re Stanley Gordon McIntosh, a photograph of a house titled "Larmer Home 1925", and a newspaper clipping regarding the immigration of the McIntosh family from Scotland in 1827. The Bible is in very poor condition; handwritten notes of a biblical nature appear in the margins of many pages throughout.
An essay on the influences of Professor T.H.B. Symons on the life of Denis Desjardins from his early francophone education in the 1960s to his reading of Tom Symons: A Canadian Life (2011). Denis Desjardins is a Trent University alumnus.
