This fonds consists of correspondence, photographs, etc. of Gilbert and Stewart Bagnani and their families. Important historical materials relating to the John Beverley Robinson family are included. The fonds also consists of Gilbert's research material as an archaeologist, Stewart's research material relating to her work as an art lecturer, photographs and materials relating to the Bagnani estate, "Vogrie", located in Port Hope, Ontario, and materials concerning Gilbert and Stewart's association with Trent University.

Folder includes photos 268-380: Stewart and Gilbert's home in Port Hope, called "Vogrie after another, ancestral home" (City & Country Home, March 1987, p.80) - several photos of the exterior of the house, the grounds, the barn raising, the building of the library, farming, stump pulling, 3 aerial photos, several unidentified photos of a baby on the grounds of Vogrie [1959], etc.; also several negatives.

File includes photographs 201-267. Stewart and Gilbert with their Suluki dogs (Note: #266-267 are of Stewart and Gilbert dressed in what may be Arabic dress, with their dogs, possibly in [Egypt]; also, several negatives).

File consists of photographs 381-386: Photographs of Strathallan, Stewart's family home before she married. One the photos is on the front of a postcard which was sent by Augusta, Stewart's mother, to Mrs. (Minnie) Forsyth-Grant, Augusta's sister.

File includes photographs 166-179: Stewart as an adult. Photographs 177-179 are prints taken of a portrait painted by Edward Halliday, 1936.

Folder includes the following photographs

• 85-98: Stewart with others at the beach in Towyn, Wales
• 99-165: Stewart as a young girl, several of which are with other people, ie. soldiers, etc. (Note: several accompanying photos, not of Stewart; photos #120-156 are inside a smaller envelope with title "Sledwich, August 1918"; #157-163 are negatives of Stewart with soldiers, etc.).
