Collection is comprised of approximately 4200 slides of photographs pertaining primarily to the Canadian and Greenland Arctic. The photographs were taken during the 1970s to 1990s by Roger Buxton and are identified and dated. Also included are aerial views of Trent University (14 September 1985), photographs of the aftermath of the Barrie, Ontario tornado (31 May 1985), and photographs of family and scenic landscapes.

These documents pertain to property in the city of Peterborough (lot 8 on the north side of Townsend Street and on the south side of Dalhousie Street west of Aylmer St.) once owned by Reverend Vincent Clementi. They consist of deeds, mortgages, and include the will of Clementi and his wife Elizabeth. Grantors and mortgage holders include James Hall Sheriff, Allan Macdougall, J.D. Collins, George Barlee, Thomas and Jane Fairbairn, R. Boucher, Katherine Dennistoun, G. Stevenson, H.C. Rogers. Clementi bought the property in 1874.

This accession consists of copy photographs, several of which are of originals in the Reid family photograph album and date from the 1840's to 1900's. One is of the Robert Henry "Harry" Devinish Reid family accompanied by an identification sheet with vital statistics for each member. Included also is a set of ten copy photographs of three generations of the Reid family. This set is accompanied by a family chart providing statistics for those listed.

File includes a broadside advertising the auction sale of Northcote Farm on Lake Katchewanooka, property of Dr. Campbell Mellis Douglas. Most of Northcote Farm became part of Lakefield College School in 2007; a small part of Northcote is retained by the Gastle family. Also included are two small hand-drawn maps by George Douglas of Northcoate Farm, ca. 1909.

This collection consists of five receipts from the 1800's. Receipts are from various places such as Port Hope and Lindsay in Ontario and Birmingham, England. The receipts are from people such as J. Huffman, Silvester Richman, The "Canadian Post", A.T.H. Williams, M.P.P. and they are for a variety of services such as parts for farmers' machinery and farm to fixing hinges on a gate and returning socks to a business.
This fonds consists of black and white photographs of a men's work camp at Ragged Rapids, located near Orillia Ontario. There are also photographs are of Norwood, Birdsall's Landing, and Young's Point.

Collection consists of 4 letters between Quentin Brown and his cousin, Price Erichsen-Brown, who was a Toronto lawyer. The letters include information about a water mill built in Millbrook, ca. 1840 by the Needler family.
This collection consists of a copy of the pamphlet "Deed of Settlement of Pugets Sound Agricultural Society" [printed in 1912], a photocopy of pages of an article with the title "Exile in the Wilderness" by Jean Murray Cole, University of Washington Press, 1979, which refers to this Society, and a letter dated January 6, 1994 from Anne Morton to Hugh Anson-Cartwright with enclosures which establish the date of printing of the pamphlet as approximately 1912.

This collection consists of 81 reproduction prints of original engravings of political figures removed from books. Most of the political figures are nineteenth century public figures such as George Brown, General Simcoe, Lord Durham, Robert Baldwin, Sir John A. Macdonald, Louis Lafontaine, Guy Carleton, Egerton Ryerson and William Lyon Mackenzie.
This collection consists of two marriage certificates. One is a handwritten certificate documenting the marriage of Charles Luduc and Sarah Walton, officiated by Pastor Michael [Tunlin], and dated 21 January 1868 at Cobourg. The other is a standard printed certificate, dated 28 February 1880 in Peterborough, and documenting the marriage of William Storms and Emma Preston. There is one family name in common on the two documents: Preston.
Preston familyThis item consists of a set of 40 posters and an accompanying booklet. The posters are reproductions of posters related to the Russian Revolution and created in Russia between 1917 and 1929. They are loosely enclosed in a cover with the title, Posters of the Russian Revolution, 1917-1929, from the Lenin Library, Moscow. Also included is an accompanying booklet with the title, Russian Revolutionary Posters, 1917-1929, published in 1966 and written in English, which gives the translated titles of the posters, along with explanations and a history.

This fonds contains two ledgers. One ledger apparently belonged to a person or business in the Port Hope area. The other ledger deals with a sale by Mrs. Brock and Mrs. Davy's from 31 March 1925.
