This fonds consists of three certificates: the first, dated October 19, 1948 appoints the Hon. Harold Robinson Scott as Minister of Lands and Forests for Ontario; the second, dated May 4, 1949 confirms that appointment; and the third, dated May 4, 1949 appoints him as a member of the Executive Council of the province of Ontario.

File includes annotated copies of The Echoes (1948, 1949, 1950, 1951), the yearbook of Peterborough Collegiate and Vocational School; a photograph of Pat Bolger (n.d.); a newspaper clipping regarding Bolger winning a PCVS scholarship (date unknown); and a reproduction of a [19th-century] pencil drawing titled "County Court-House and Jail, Peterborough"

These documents consist of two stapled mimeographed books. The first, dated March 1946 and entitled "The Union of Saskatchewan Indians: The Record of the Establishment of Indian Unity in Saskatchewan" records the minutes of meetings held in Regina, Duck Lake and Saskatoon, and provides names of the Constitution Committee. It also contains reprints of Treaties No.3 and 4. The second book, dated July 1946 and entitled "The Treaties Between Her Majesty, Queen Victoria and The Indians of British North America" contains reprints of Treaties No. 3,4,5,6,7, and 8.

This fonds consists of newspaper clippings and magazine articles by and about Robertson Davies (including a newspaper clipping of his obituary); Fern Rahmel's articles "Robertson Davies: Wonder-Worker" and "Robertson Davies: "Teacher"-Director"; the stage manager's copy of Robertson Davies' play King Phoenix staged at Peterborough Little Theatre; correspondence between Robertson Davies and Fern Rahmel; and a photo of Brenda Davies and Robertson Davies.

This fonds consists of three issues of the University of Manitoba publication VOX which contain stories, poetry, editorials, reports and a graduate section which has photographs of the graduates for the year of publication. In all issues there are short stories and poetry written by Margaret Laurence, under her maiden name of Jean Margaret (Peggy) Wemyss. There is also a photograph of her in one of the issues.

The fonds consists of a typescript copy by Vernon B. Wadsworth titled "A History of Exploratory Surveys Conducted by John Stroughton Dennis, Provincial Land Surveyor, in the Muskoka, Perry Sound and Nipissing Districts, 1860-1865." It also includes a press clipping and an obituary of Vernon B. Wadsworth.

This collection contains 89 2.5" x 4" black and white photographs of soldiers from World War II of the Peterborough and Cobourg areas.

A reproduction (34 cm x 121 cm) of an original two-piece mural painted in 1941 by artist Frederick Hagan (1918-2003). The mural depicts various camp activities; reproductions were made in recognition of the camp's 100th anniversary celebrated in 2010.

This fonds consists of one shipboard dispatch relating to the meeting between Hitler and Mussolini on August 1939; a telegram from 29 April 1945 suing for peace; a telegram from 7 May 1945 regarding the signing of an unconditional surrender and two telegrams from 1946 concerning atomic bomb use from the Prime Minister of Canada, MacKenzie King.

This fonds consists of two books of poetry by Frederick Montague de la Fosse, "Verses Grave and Gay" and "A Dream and An Allegory" which are signed by the author and given to Helen Anderson from him. Also included in the fonds are some poems, all signed by de la Fosse and letters to Helen Anderson from de la Fosse as well as two photographs of de la Fosse; one as a young man (signed on the back) and one of him as an older man.

This fonds consists of a bibliography of William Breyfogle's works and a biography. Also included is a photograph of Breyfogle which was taken by Roy Photo Studio, Peterborough in November, 1938. The covering letter from Velma McWilliams who compiled the bibliography is included as well.

This fonds consists of two receipts dated 1934, one of which relates to a license for Rye's Pavilion granted by the Canadian Performing Right Society, Ltd., and the other to fees charged by W.H. Cunningham for tuning Mr. Rye's piano.

Item is a 180-page typescript of an Eskimo-French dictionary written by Arthur Thibert in 1932. An accompanying note written by Mary M. Parsons reads as follows: "While stationed at Eskimo Point N.W.T. where my husband was the O/C the R.C.M.P. detachment, I was requested by the priests of the Catholic mission to type a copy of this dictionary. I would believe this book to be one of the copies I made at that time. Arthur Thibert whose name the manuscript bears, was a priest of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate and was, in fact, the priest who performed our marriage so I got to know him well. My part was done during the winter of 1941-42. [signed] Mary M. Parsons."
