There are also some papers concerning his work since retiring from politics.

Records pertaining to the St. Lawrence Islands National Parks and the Thousand Islands Heritage area, early minutes of the Conservation Council of Ontario (1951-1955), brochures published by the Council as well as articles by Gavin Henderson are also included in the fonds.

Cameron who was commissioned by the Department of the Secretary of State (superseded by the Department of Canadian Heritage) to investigate the status of Canadian Studies in the 1990s. His report, "Taking Stock: Canadian Studies in the Nineties" was published by the Association of Canadian Studies in 1996. Materials include readers' comments on the draft report.

This fonds includes Dawson City Headquarters records (letter books and general and local orders); detachment records; and general administration and other records. The records on the microfilm date from 1898 to 1951.

Correspondents include W.L. Mackenzie King, Mitchell Hepburn, Maurice Dupre and Hugh Guthrie. Also included is a crown land grant to Joseph Aiott, Smith Township, 1852.

The Red River Settlement at times spoken of as Fort Garry" (33 pages); "Historical Paper No. 2. The Fenian Raid of October 1871 into Manitoba" (21 pages); "Historical Paper No. 3. Being the first paper of the rebellion of 1885" (22 pages); "Historical Paper No. 4. Re. The half breed and Indian insurrection of 1885" (22 pages). There are references throughout to Louis Riel.
