This collection consists of theatre programs and tickets primarily of the Peterborough Theatre Guild (1967-1990) plus a variety of programs of other Peterborough-based theatre clubs and organizations such as Arbor Theatre, PCVS Senior Dramatic Club, Peterborough Arts festival, Kawartha Summer Theatre, Arbor Productions, Arbor Theatre, Canadian Images, Mackenzie Gallery, Peterborough District Guild of Arts & Crafts, Peterborough Symphony Orchestra, National Ballet of Canada, and St. James Players.

This collection consists of a number of articles written by Norman McBain about families in Cavan and about topics of interest in the Cavan area, i.e. inns, taxes, schools, etc. It also includes the following: an article by E.S. Clarry on an 1821 petition to the King regarding voting rights; a bylaw re taverns; the history of Fairmount Church and Methodist givings; an 1896 ballot for Cavan officers; a clipping re George Berry; a list of Overseers of Highways, fence viewers, etc.; an audited financial statement of Cavan for 1875; a newspaper report of Cavan Council business; an invoice re sidewalks; notes on Cavan town hall; and several pages of original hand-written notes re persons holding various offices in Cavan. Also included are copies of clippings re Cavan Blazers, school graduation results, etc.

This collection consists of materials relating to Trent University's Morton Lecture Series, including the inaugural lecture with dinner hosted by the Governor General of Ontario in 1982. Also included is a report on the civil rights of the native population in Ontario (1954), a calendar of Victoria University (1989), a University of Toronto development publication, and correspondence, etc. of the Trent University .02 club.

This collection consists of various documents relating to women's issues in Canada and third world countries. Included are correspondence and documents relating to the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing in 1985, and documents relating to the Kawartha World Issues Centre.

This fonds consists of an article entitled "Ice on Rice Lake" which was written in 1985 for the Trent Alumnus magazine. Also included is a photocopy of the September, 1858 issue of The Canadian Journal of Industry, Science and Art entitled "Ice Phenomena, from Observations on Rice Lake" by J.H. Dumble. An original copy of The Canadian Journal from June 1855 is included in the fonds. It has an article entitled "On the Action of Ice Upon the Bridge at Rice Lake" by T.C. Clarke and two copies of an article from the Arctic journal in 1992 entitled "J.B. Tyrell and D.H. Dumble on Lake Ice".

Collection consists of an audio cassette tape and transcript of an interview with William G. Towns of Douro, Ontario, conducted by Professor Alan Brunger on 27 October 1981. Also included is an audio cassette tape of an interview with William Telford of Smith Township, Ontario, on local recreation history, conducted by Elaine Boothman for Professor John Marsh's geography 334 course in October 1984.

This fonds consists of correspondence and reports relating to the Mackenzie Valley Pipeline, the Berger Report and inquiry as well as the Committee for an Independent Canada.

This collection consists of six published articles and booklets relating to Mary Northway, W.E. Blatz, the Brora Centre and child psychology. It also consists of two photographs, one of Taylor Statten at Camp Ahmek in 1929, and one of Camp Ahmek council members in 1923, with accompanying key to names. Also included is a share certificate issued to Marian Gibson by John Northway and Son, Limited, and 1982 reminiscences of Mary Northway of her days at Glen Bernard Camp.

Collection consists of six registers maintained by the Mather Funeral Home, Keene, Ontario. Volume 1 (1880-1903) was strictly a funeral register. Volume 2 (1910-1928) consists of a day book for a cabinet maker and carriage maker who also handled funerals by providing caskets, embalming services, wreaths, shrouds and so forth. Remaining registers recorded funerals only. The registers record names of deceased, age, cause of death and where buried.

This collection consists of an eclectic assortment of documents and papers pertaining to many parts of Canada including 3 documents prepared by Powadiuk for the government, 2 of which concern native peoples; 10 prints of 19th century personalities; 1905 map of the Niagara River; papers re Indian-Eskimo Association; deeds, mortgages and trust documents from Huron and Bruce Counties; Niagara peninsula documents including Hugh Alexander's account book; Lord Selkirk letter dated 1837; Charles G.D. Roberts letter dated 1892; notes on the inception of "Evangeline." A major element in the collection relates to Mr. James Ross of East Hawkesbury, stone mason and merchant and his family. The Ross quarry appears to have supplied stone for the Carillon lock and for Fort Henry. The family was involved in the East Hawkesbury school for 2 decades.

Collection consists of correspondence, surveys, notes, plans, and maps of Peterborough area surveyors John Huston, John Reid, Alfred J. Cameron, and John W. Pierce. Also included are speeches, newspaper clippings, biographical accounts of various local surveyors, miscellaneous published items re Peterborough, and documents and photographs relating to Pierce's survey of the Ontario-Manitoba border in 1921.

This fonds consists of photocopies of manuscripts, 2 pages per frame; 2 articles. 1. Uber die Eigenart Kultursoziologischer Erkenntuis (on the nature of cultural - sociological knowledge - pp. 174, begun September 1922. 2. Eine Soziologische Theorie der Kultur und ihrer Erkennbarkeit (Konjuktives und Kommunikatives Denken) - A Sociological Theory and its Knowability - Conjunctive and Communicative Thought) written in approximately 1924.

This fonds consists of photocopies of the field notes of a Bobcaygeon-Nipissing Road survey, in diagram form, with notations as to timber and soil types as well as other important observations. The fonds also includes photocopies and a transcript of final report dated September 1, 1860 by land surveyor Crosbie Brady.

This collection consists of 278 slides taken by Rosemary McConkey during her work as a nutritionist in Malaya (1962) and in Nigeria (1965). McConkey was part of a team of medical personnel and scientists from the University of Ohio who undertook surveys of nutritional needs in these two areas. McConkey has supplied a detailed listing of the slides (below) and has also included a 45 r.p.m. recording of the national anthem of Malaya "Negara Ku,", six books relating to the two areas and a map of Malaya. Wilson Craw such as school histories, Peterborough County; Barnardo's Canadian Homes Almanac 1901; a list of Peterborough Utilities Commissioners 1902-1965; biographies of Peterborough residents; deeds and mortgages; North Monaghan voters list 1883-4; 76 photographs of industries, schools and churches and sporting groups, as well as a history of Springfield, North Monaghan.

This collection consists of voters lists for various townships in Peterborough, Durham, Brant and Hastings counties such as Asphodel, North Monaghan, Otonabee, Harvey, Burleigh and Anstruther, Dummer, Hope, Brantford, Onondaga, the Town of Paris and Sidney.

This collection consists of a photograph of John R. Marshall, possibly in his late 30s or early 40s, and newspaper clipping memorials to Marshall at the time of his death in April 1952.
